Lenny's Bar — Restaurant in West Deer Township

These are the best whole seasoned breaded wings I've ever had. Breading is light, crispy and delicious. They are cooked perfectly correct, resulting in a juicy inside, crispy outside, without any excess oil. They have a dedicated wing frier and they keep the oil fresh. I'm not sure what flower and oil combination they are using, but it's perfect. The seasoning has a pretty familiar base (Lawry's), but is still different enough to be original.

When you rate wings, you have to categorize. There really is no such thing as "the best wings ever" because you can't compare breaded wings to naked wings, whole wings to cut wings, smoked wings to fried wings, seasoned wings to sauced wings, the list goes on.

My personal favorite wings are "whole seasoned naked" and "whole seasoned breaded." I've tried quite a few places in those two categories, probably upwards of 100 locations, all across Western PA. There are a handful of places with breaded wings that I absolutely love, but I have admit, none of them are as good as these. Lenny's edges ahead of even the toughest competition and takes home the trophy for "Best whole seasoned breaded wings."

12/10/2022 Saturday. Lenny and Leslie once again out did themselves. The annual Holiday get together was over the top and my wife and I had a wonderful time. (We always do. Probably a bit too frequently....Oh well!!!) When you are lucky enough to have people that are so very special to the community, own a great establishment such as Lenny's and employ "Great Tenders of the Bar", one must visit.
