Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in West Greenwich

(This is my very first Google review, but I felt inclined to write it because of how good of an experience we had.)

This was my first time at a Popeyes, so my hopes were high, and they were most definitely met. The man who took our order, Lucas, very clearly knew his stuff, as I inquired about the different sauces they had that I hasn't seen before, such as the blackened ranch or the spicy sweet and sour, and he told me exactly what they were. Now, for the orders:

My girlfriend and I each ordered the three chicken strip combo. She went with mild strips with onion rings, and I went with spicy strips with cajun fries, and we both enjoyed our meals. The chicken was very good and crispy, the sides were very hot and fresh, the dipping sauces we chose were great, and the biscuits were simply some of the best we've ever had; they came already buttered, and were very good.

Simply put, I can't recommend this place enough. I'm a little bummed that it was as good as it was, because I probably won't see a Popeyes for years. Seriously, if you're reading this review and can't decide whether or not to go:...

I’ve never seen such an incompetent, lazy, and irresponsible group of people in one place. I placed my order through the mobile app just to save time instead, I wasted 40 minutes in complete chaos. It wasn’t just me; everyone was waiting forever. Not a single person got their order in under 15 minutes. At minute 20, the most clueless girl on staff asked the equally useless guy with glasses, “Was James’s order 2 wraps?” He checked the screen and said yes. And then? Absolutely nothing happened.

I asked the girl she said, “I’ll check,” but never did. I went to someone named Bob, who wasn’t even in uniform, and showed him the wait time. He mumbled something and walked off. No solution. No apology. No professionalism whatsoever.

I’m a truck driver 40 minutes of wasted time means something to me. Thanks to this disaster of a location, I fell behind on my schedule. What I experienced wasn’t just a delay, it was flat-out disrespect. And worst of all, there’s no one in charge. Just a headless herd of sheep.

Never again. I’ll avoid Popeyes like the plague...

If i could rate this place a 0 i would. I did the survey too as soon as i sat down thinking i wasnt going to have a problem with my food. Well sure enough i was wrong. I ordered spicy chicken. Went up to counter and said im sorry i ordered spicy i tasted it and it taste plain..she says "its most deffinently spicy" and asked me if i wanted sauce to flavor it that their spicy chicken isnt very spicy. Ive had popeyes spicy chicken in other states and this was plain old chicken. I didnt want it anymorei ate a few bites and threw the rest away. Gravy for mashed potatoes didnt taste right eaither. Why did i pay 28 dollars for something i didnt want and get told it is what i wanted. Im so mad. Then the lobby was TRASHED. So dirty!! Food on tables on chairs on floors. We will NEVER come here again and highly NOT recommend this place to anyone. Quality of food is bad and serve wrong...
