Archie's — Restaurant in West Marlborough Township

One name, you know they have to stand out. I felt like I was in Archie’s kitchen. It was a roast beef cheesesteak. Boar's Head roast beef. Top quality meat purveyor, top quality Cheesesteak, top quality place and very nice people. Toasted Roll, the roll came out of a Ziploc bag and that was a red flag to me. The roll turned out very well. The cheese was melted onto the roll. I'm definitely not a fan of that. Apparently roast beef is a lean meat so they put olive oil on the grill to keep it moist. The two regular customers where chatty, pleasant and got to sample a new menu item. Yes, I was a little hurt that I didn't get a free sample of the new menu item but I tried to be a professional when I did their score. Overall very good experience. Honestly I came in here thinking I will be greeted by nice people with great hospitality but instead I'm in for the worst. The owner himself treated me horribly. The food was not impressing I shall make sure that is the last time I go there. And he even harassed me about paying cash when I only had a debit card. I offered to pay the difference and he puffed rolled his eyes and denied my request. Still left a $2 tip to make sure you wouldn't complain about the $1.30...

Lunch at Archies today was the Clubhouse with Turkey!! What a great choice! Biggest Sandwich in Southern Chester county. Turkey((Lot's of Turkey) Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon(Lot's of Bacon). Whole wheat Bread toasted! Fresh and delicious!! The great thing about Archies sandwiches are you get to eat 1/2 the sandwich and take home the other half for tomorrow's lunch.
