I arrived to Church’s location 1503 E Broadway Ave. West Memphis, AR drive-thru on the morning of December 14. I ordered a two piece thigh chicken special. Also, I presented a validation code from a survey I completed for a complimentary chicken of choice. The attendant spoke rudely while taking the order. At the window, my order was wrong. I was given a thigh and a leg instead of two thighs. I told the attendant my order was wrong and asked for two thighs, he replied “you want your money back.” The attendant claimed to be the general manager and refused to give the additional chicken denying the validation code and saying “he can’t give out free chicken”. I asked him to cancel the order and return my funds and validation code receipt as I did not want to eat from a place with such behavior. I asked the general manager for his name and he refused to present a name, told me to get out of his line, and proceeded to call the police. So, I called the police as well and stated I needed my money back. I explained to him I could leave if he returned the money and previous receipt. If he had not done anything wrong why would he refuse to give his name? The police came, they did not correct the situation. Instead, they asked for my drivers license and told me not to return. The nerve. The situation was not resolved properly. This was an horrific experience. If a general manager behaves like this to a customer, I can only imagine how he’s treating fellow co workers. The behavior of this general manager is unethical, rude, unprofessional, and presents a huge liability to the establishment. I rate this place a zero star. I do not want anyone else to experience this behavior. I advise others to take caution and...
Read moreVisited this location Saturday, March 22nd around 5 or 6 pm. The young lady who took our order was very nice and I have nothing bad to say about her. The manager that was working however.. He was the one who was fixing our order. After bringing it to the counter, my friend asked if he had another bag we could have just to separate our food. He let out a big SIGH and reached over for the bag. When my friend opened the box to check and make sure everything was there, she noticed her coleslaw was small. She had ordered a large. She just politely told him that she got the incorrect size and he decides to talk loudly about how she didn't pay for a large. It wasn't a big deal that the order was taken wrong, but his attitude was just bad news. She said she would gladly pay for a large because she loves their coleslaw. Anyway, I don't know what his problem was but he needs to learn to not take out his bad days on other people. We were so annoyed by this guy that we didn't even notice both of our orders were missing biscuits until we got home. lol Her mashed potatoes turned out to be just gravy. The chicken was...
Read moreI went into this establishment yesterday around one pm and the woman working drive through(NOT WORKING FRONT END REGISTER)went past the person in front of me and asked me what I wanted to order. I told her a spicy chicken sandwich and she told me abruptly and rudely that they didn’t have that. I started looking at the menu again and she stared daggers at me until I told her I needed a minute. She acted like she couldn’t hear me, so I had to repeat that I needed a minute four times- I knew at this point she was being difficult and actively trying to make me feel unwelcomed. It was extremely crowded in their small space for customers and everyone was just staring at me, you could cut the tension with a knife. I wonder why? I ended up leaving because I’m a trucker and the only convenient thing to eat while driving is a sandwich. I won’t be coming back, which I’m sure she will be thrilled by. I will also be contacting corporate for the complete...
