CJ' s Blues & Sports Bar — Restaurant in West Memphis

CJ's is the spot for an authentic blues experience in the Memphis area. It's a local club with a local clientele, but visitors are always made to feel very welcome. I've been there several times during my trips to the Memphis area and always had a blast. Part of the time they have live music and sometimes a DJ. Either way it will be a nice time. The live artists they feature are great, especially Big John Cummings, an underrated blues master! Fans of Wild Bill's will love this place. They've got cold beer and serve food as well. The wings are great!

Last time I was in Memphis I rented a bike, and rode over the river on the Mississippi River Trail into Arkansas. I wasn't quite sure where the trail ended, but when I got to the end, I realized I was only a block or two from CJ's. I hadn't been there for a while, so I headed on over and found CJ out back. When he saw me on my bike, he told me that he's actually working to make his club a destination for cyclists. He's been working on a new patio in the back and is going to install a bike rack soon. Plus, he's starting to schedule live blues on Saturday afternoons just to attract cyclists!! This is the ideal West Memphis destination for cyclists to have a cold beer and listen to some music after a ride!! Highly...

What a great place!! Very welcoming!! We met the owner CJ and he showed us around the bar and back patio too bad it was too cold out to enjoy being outside cause it looks wonderful out there!! Great food, and priced reasonably. Full bar, ice cold beer, and the lemondrops are on point! DJ laying down all the hit tracks.
