After stopping at 2 closed spots for some fried catfish my daughter was getting hangry and said “God clearly doesn’t want you to have any fried catfish”, but the Lord is my shepherd and he KNOWS what I want. Instead of pressing on with my mission I told my girl to find the nearest BBQ joint because mama knows where good BBQ is to be found. IYKYK. We popped into William’s BBQ and lo and behold it had what this Florida girl was craving. The catfish was as good as granny’s and I didn’t have to catch the fish and clean it myself although I would like to have done so. My daughter had a BBQ chicken sandwich and made me proud when she had the slaw put on the sandwich. She is a tarheel baby after all. The slaw was also delicious and I am not usually a fan of slaw. The seasoned fries were also great. The food is second only to the kindness of the cashier and the ladies preparing the food. The patrons of this spot are also incredibly kind and welcoming. A boy who is my non biological child is from Devall’s Bluff and he gave me the finger when I sent him a picture of my food 😂. If I ever pass through WM again I will definitely be stopping into William’s BBQ for some southern hospitality and...
Read moreme and my boyfriend decided to stop in on our way back to beautiful washington state. we had our dog in the car so he had to stay behind while i went in to order on my own. i’m typically a really nervous individual when it comes to ordering but they were so sweet and it made me feel comfortable enough to order. they really treat you like family here at Williams. it was an absolutely amazing experience i might have had a spiritual awakening after eating this bbq. should i try to reconnect with the love from our lord and savior, Jesus Christ? this bbq had me HEAVLIY considering it. you simply cannot find decent bbq in Washington, so it was an extremely pleasant treat for me as i grew up in the south and consistently crave a good bbq, wish i didn’t have to drive cross country to get it! please, if you like bbq and want to get a taste of what heaven might truly be like, stop by...
Read moreWe were traveling back to Chattanooga from the Grand Canyon and wanted some good BBQ and saw the reviews for Mr. William's place and decided to check it out.
Counter service was outstandingly helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious! We had the pulled pork sandwiches, sausage dogs, and fries. I ate mine with coleslaw and hubby without. Fries are your basic crinkle cut, coked perfectly. Both the sandwiches and sausages were soooo good! Sauce also excellent, we prefer the hot in hindsight though. Portions good and price appropriate. The appearance of the food (when you take a pic) wins no beauty pageants, but the taste is all that matters here! Great local BBQ find!
