Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in West Milford

Been coming to this DQ for 25 years and for as long as I can remember, the current owners have been so miserable and it’s just really awkward and uncomfortable going there. Tonight, I called at 8:22 to place an easy to go order of Blizzards, being considerate because they closed at 8:30. I get there at 8:25 (I was right down the road food shopping), and the minute I walk in the miserable owner starts shutting off all of the lights literally while I was waiting for my ice cream. Seriously? Rude? It was completely degrading and I’ve been a local, like I said, for 25 years and always give them my business, as well as tip. Corporate needs to give the store a phone call....

My local Dairy Queen in West Milford on Marshall Hill Rd is horrible and a great example of what customer service does not look like! The owners are awful and old and miserable with no customer service skills! Rude when they answer the phone, rude when given feedback and very defensive and don't want to learn how to be better, give families with kids attitudes when it's free come day! I love the local owners and how they have the most accommodating hours. It's nice being able to get a sweet treat around the corner in West Milford and even pick a few things up to go like ice cream bars or ice cream cakes. I am a big Blizzard fan and get them pretty much every time I come and if there's one thing I love it's consistency. They do a great job at getting them to taste the same way every time.
