Jimmy Geez North — Restaurant in West Milford

Got seated @3pm, waited 15-20 minutes of being ignored before going up to someone to ask if someone can help us, people who came in after are all being served. The young man who seated us gets to our table and apologizes, says he didn't see us there ??? (he seated us). Bar tender saw us, too, and never bothered to tell anyone we were being ignored. Took long to get our 2 Cokes that ended up being diet. Got told they ran out of regular so the "machine switches to diet" (never heard of that). A little more than 45 minutes after being seated, get our apps. I'll start with this, for all of our food, you can tell the oil was old and/or dirty. I know it's more of a bar, but, you serve food. Everything fried tasted old and tasted like a mix of different foods that were fried. Fried pickles-half were burnt, very burnt. I don't mind some burn but this was too much. Chicken wings were good, but someone should tell the cook that you're supposed to toss the wings in whichever flavor is chosen, not just throw it on top. My dinner, quesadilla, was good, nothing to write home about. My husband's burger was a mess, served on a cheap ShopRite bun that broke apart almost immediately. Fries were ok and onion rings were good. Training is definitely needed here. There were two young men who were taking care of the floor, one seating/taking orders and one cleaning. Both were very polite and were definitely working, not lazy, but really need training. Whoever was responsible for cooking, he/she needs...

I made an account just so I could write a review of Jimmy Geez! This has the potential to be a GREAT place, especially without much competition around it. However, I have been there a number of times and have continued to have very disappointing experiences. Please be warned: Not all sandwiches come with French fries. Who makes a sandwich without including fries or at least letting you know they don't come with fries! -Don't get seated in the back of the bar area. Your server will forget about you. -food has been luke warm, at best. WATCH OUT! Blue cheese costs $1.50! Don't ask for extra, because they will forget to give it to you, but they will still charge you for it. What place that serves a majority of meals with buffalo sauce charges you EXTRA for blue cheese!? They charged me for blue cheese with my WINGS! They don't even tell you that the blue cheese is charged extra! If you do decide to purchase the extra blue cheese and want to bring it home with your left overs, make sure you tell them to package it up. If you don't, they won't include it in your take home box, even though you paid for it!

This really does have the potential to be a great place. However, each time I go, the food is just luke warm, the service sucks (they forgot about our table after waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes!), and they don't include regular things (like fries with a sandwich or blue cheese with hot sauce!)....

This place was ridiculous. First off we get there and our table was wobbly. I was afraid our drinks would tip over. I told the waitress and she comes back 10 minutes later with napkins and sticks them under the table and still the table was woBbly. The waitress took forever taking our order and bringing our drinks. We had 2 drinks each and each time the drinks took about 10 minutes to get. The food was so so. The wings where dry. I asked for hot wings and they barely had any wing sauce on them. Food took long to get also. The waitress didn't know what she was doing and couldn't offer any suggestions on which drinks where good or not. And then the kicker was the next day when I looked at my bank statement. I was double charged. And when I called in to ask about it the manager told me there is nothing he can do and I had to deal with the issue through my bank because he would not do anything to rectify the problem. Bad service and double charged ? Needless to say I will not be returning to jimmy gee north. The one in Haledon is slow too. I want there once and they also took forever to bring me my drinks and food. By he time they brought me my food my lunch break was over and I ended up having to take it to go.
