West Newbury Pizza Co — Restaurant in West Newbury

Two months ago we ordered wild Mushrooms ravioli. The sign read $9.95 but when we paid after eating, the bill read $11.95. When we questioned it we were told that the prices had changed but they hadn't had time to change the sign. Last night we went there again and again ordered the same thing. I asked what the price was as the sign STILL read $9.95. I was told it was $11.95. I asked why the sign still read $9.95 after 2 months and was told that they hadn't had time to change it. I told her we were leaving but would first like to please talk to the manager or owner. He was called over and we were told the same thing. I told him he was doing the wrong thing and as we turned to leave he said in an upset voice... "Just take it for $9.95 this time. I don't care!" We ordered, ate, paid and left never to return. This is misleading, dishonest and just NO WAY to treat customers. They just LOST 4 customers permanently! As we left we were handed the new menu. The price in it says $12.95. If they already have them printed and in hand, why is the sign still...

Great place to pick up delicious meals! Seriously the best kept secret in Northern Essex County. They make specials a couple of times a week if you are lucky enough to grab one before they are gone- DO IT. Moussaka, Lamb Shank, Vegetable Lasagna, Macaroni and Cheese and so much more- just the best of the best comfort food. Their standard menu is vast and their pizza is just delicious. Cheesy, sauce is slightly sweet, hearty crust. Also I love their Chicken Kabob salad- the creamy greek yogurt dressing is AMAZING- portions are huge, prices are right. They deliver throughout West Newbury, Merrimac and Groveland too- very prompt delivery and food is always hot and fresh when delivered. Such a gem - we are lucky to have West Newbury Pizza Co....

Don’t sleep on the West Newbury Pizza Company! Great family-run restaurant that’s been a staple of our community for decades! Food is always delicious and prepared with love. Not a bad meal on the menu, but we especially love the pizza, french fries, Greek salads, and burgers! There used to be indoor seating, but that went away during the pandemic, I suspect.
