Worst experience I've had in a long time. We dont live close but when we come to WP we often treat our family here. We love to support our brothers and sisters in Christ. But we prob won't come back. There is a lack of maturity in their staff. As far as we could tell, an entire crew of young people...they need a Shepard amongst them. We ordered 3 blizzards busy Saturday night inside. We knew it wouldn't be quick so we were patient and smiley. The place was a disaster. Messy every where. The line shrunk and as we waited in front of the register making eye contact with all the employees....they called number after number. They skipped our number, no fuss, maybe the order was easier than ours. After noticing that people that came in much later than us had recieved their meals and treats, I looked at our ticket and 20min passed. I made the employees aware of our wait....no sorry, no We'll get right on it....instead they pointed to some melty mess and said to another...these need to be finished. Nothing was said to me. We waited another 10min. No one was working on our order....just others for the drive thru and some more that had more recently arrived. 30mins passed. Upset, my kid....who asked to come to Dairy Queen for her special day...I asked for a refund. That's when the register girl finally apologized to me but was just a I'm sorry. Not sorry for ignoring us. Not sorry for our wait. The girl in the back who may have been in charge or a higher up, pipes up with....but I just started remaking yours, annoyed with me! That made it even more frustrating. I got my refund and left. My 11 yr old professed her anger in the car. She never wants to come here again. Poor thing....
Read moreThe last two times we’ve been there, the cashier would give us all the cups that come with our meals, except one. We were one cup short, but we didn’t count the cups, my wife would grab them and go start getting drinks. I would pay and go help her with them. At the soda fountain is where we realized we were one cup short.
When I went back to get it, they refused to give me the cup that came with the meal. Then they accused me of lying about not already getting a cup. She said she gave us all the cups we needed. This has happened twice now.
I am a Christian, I have never stolen anything, and I am not about to start now. Especially not a soda. I just want what I pay for. And I did pay for sodas with the meals according to the receipts. But to be refused, then to be accused of lying about a soda cup is a little off-putting.
If I really had all the soda cups like she said I did, what’s an extra cup going to do for me? Why would I ask for an extra cup?
Do you think I’m going to find someone with water and give them a cup full of soda?
Or maybe I like drink out two cups at once? It’s ridiculous.
Maybe Dairy Queen doesn’t like to waste cardboard, which I understand.
But still yet, if I had all the cups, and we all got soda, there’s no reason to ask for an extra one, in my opinion. Come on,...
Read morenew restaurant didn't stay clean for long. kamakaze flies were dive-bombing us while we ate. floors were a little slippery around the tables. a few tables needing bussing. i was hoping additional restroom facilities would have been added. my daughter said the womens restroom has 2 stalls. the mens has a urinal and a stall. seemingly standard at a fast food joint this size. really frustrating though when you know the same dude has been in there over 15 minutes. if you are the guy i am talking about, then take some colace before you get hemorroids! not sure if i should fault the establishment over this, but it stinks. (pun intended here) the family that owns this establishment are wonderful people and have devoted the decor of the building to honor veterans and christian beliefs, which is quite refreshing on itself. food and service are on the otherside, exactly what you expect of any other dairy queen or other fast food establishment - no...
