An update. After being in New Kent for 3 years and going to Don Miguel quite often, I must say that their service and food have decreased substantially. I am an absolute cat lover and when there are cats eating on the table next to me when I'm seated outside that's disgusting. I wish that they could safely trap those cats and take them somewhere else off the property or at least screen in the porch area so the cats can't get on to the porch and eat food while I'm eating my food. Please consider screening in your porch. There is a man that is often there in a blue shirt he's often very nice but the last few times we've been there he's had an attitude problem. The food tastes so authentic that you'll want to learn spanish just by looking at your order!
The customer service is above and beyond anything you've ever seen. There have been times my buddies and I came back from fishing in a SWAMP and they'd still let our smelly selves inside!
If you're looking for a chill spot - this is it!
If you're looking for a date night spot - this is it!
If you're looking for a place off 64 to eat - this is it!
If you're looking for great tasting food - this is it!
If you're looking for fast, cheap and quality - this is it!
Pro tip: Order Mr Pibb

They did bring me a deep fried cinnamon taco shell with ice cream, chocolate and coolwhip/ sang me Happy Birthday which I didn't ask for but those 2 $7.99 margaritas I ordered came to $25 so I figured they got their money for that somehow. I advise you not tell them it's your birthday or if you do, make sure they don't charge you for that dessert you...
