Edge church/El Rancho restaurant — Restaurant in West Point

Just moved here to west point and honestly wasn't super impressed the people that worked there were super genuine and very satisfactory. But the food was very bland and had absolutely no flavor the chicken tasted like canned chicken. if a few updateds were made to the menu/ Food... i would probably feel a whole lot different. They need to downsize the menu and keep classics....classic. there was just to much and overwhelming amount of Entries. It was also 15$ for a margaritas with nothing on the rim so when I say upgrades to the food I mean add more flavor and spice like green chilies and spices into the chicken or something and detail to drinks. Cause we paid over $50.00 dollars for some real bland food. Also the menus were super dirty and had old food all over them. But nothing that can't be fixed. Cleanliness does matter. Huge potential here but...

Customer service was terrible. Ordered over the phone. My wife got a quesadilla Grande with no refried beans and no guacamole. Get to the restaurant and the lady doesn’t speak English very well, she made her quesadilla with guacamole and refried beans with a side of refried beans. Told them that was wrong and he said he would take it back and scrap it off. I tried to leave and they said they would call the police. I offered to call myself. A peace treaty was made and they re made her meal the correct way. He threw in a free coke but forgot our cheese sauce for the chips. Get home to eat and the food is terrible. All I taste is butter. The cheese wasn’t even halfway melted on my meal. The chicken is like bottom of the barrel. The rice isn’t even Spanish. Will never ever go back to this place and wouldn’t ever recommend it to my...

Worth the drive from anywhere!!! Family owned restaurant where everything is scratch made in-house. Honestly, the entire menu is great, but the salsa and made-to-order guac (and secret special reserve tomatillo hot sauce) are bright and fresh, the burritos are huge and filled with fresh ingredients, and the fajitas are an absolute steal, especially when compared to chain restaurants at nearly twice the price with half the quality. Call ahead for the coctel de camarones - this special, off the menu item made by advance request only is a Mexican shrimp cocktail with a Bloody Mary twist, tequila added for the daring.
