COVID 2021 REVIEW: Like most popular places in Vermont, you need to call before getting a spot there. There are a few places at the bar and plenty of tables for the small space in the café. A little more than a dozen guests could fit in the space (from the area I could see).

The menu covers most things you could ask for and has gluten free options at a small small upcharge. There is a lot of options to add on, and the staff will ask you for what is normally good with things, such as adding peppers and onions to an order of home fries.

Coffee is quite fine! Very fresh and not served at a rolling boil so you can drink it soon enough. Black coffee alone was nice, but it can be even smoother with the maple syrup they serve in a nice squeeze bottle. It looks like malt vinegar at first, but its just syrup!

Prices are fair for the region. They could be noted as competitive; with Mary's being about a dollar or so less than other places.

This is a local spot, and the staff is well connected and relaxed. Having a smaller guest total allows them to attend to what you need and not rush you for...

If there were 6 stars, I'd give them! Folks advise calling ahead for a reservation. We were lucky; there were open tables and bar seating when we arrived, but when we left, the place was packed with a line out the door. Any wait would be worth it!!! Folks are very friendly, the service was top notch, and the food was great! My pancakes were far and away the best in the area beating other establishment's offerings like Jonny Boys and the Wheel by a mile. Half the price but quadruple the flavor and texture. Light & fluffy with plenty of Vermont's maple syrup!. Mary's is one of the area's best kept secrets. ...

Horrible customer service. The waitress should probably learn customer service before she tries to be a waitress.Food is very good all around the table. Customer service is absolutely horrible instead of solving a problem they created a bigger problem. For a family run restaurant, they sure know how to run families out of the restaurant. Bad customer service spreads the word very quickly and will ruin a place like this very quickly. Very disappointed in the customer service today. Waitress is like this should step back and realize if they want to tip, they...

Waffles! The Belgian Waffles! Go there and order them. They are indescribable. They have this crunch to them, but they are still fluffy. I can't explain it; just go eat them. My son didn't even add butter or syrup. That's how good they are! The pancakes were good, the muffins spectacular. The servers were friendly and seemed genuinely happy. It's a small, family operated place. Very affordable, but cash only. My family and I went there two days in a row! It was nicely decorated for the holidays. Even the coffee mugs had winter and Christmas themes.

I've been coming to this place for over 2-3 years. Today and a couple other days I've ordered my meal with my own Gluten free bread. I am for light toasted and what do I get particularly burnt. I've really enjoyed this place but lately it feels like my Patronage isn't appreciated 😕. Please Do Something Different 😔.
