My little family had a very serious situation happen as we were trying to leave with my child and dog last night...
Your two employees in the gift shop, (10-12-2025), even after hours, went above and beyond to try to help us. It was two young ladies, who continued to help customers besides me, even though the door was shut and the closed sign was out. Never once did they catch an attitude, or seemed bothered to help anyone that came in. I am forever grateful for their positivity and eagerness to help, their kindness and brainstorming, even after the store closed. (a little after 6pm) These two young ladies are stand up people. I'm sorry I didn't get your names, as I was freaking out. But thank you so much!!!!
Then your employee JIMMY came and literally saved the day! And my dog!! He's an extremely friendly man, with an awesome set of skills that saved me so much time and money. I couldn't thank him enough!! I am so very grateful he was willing to basically stop whatever he was doing, to come find us and help us out. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU JIMMY!!!
There was also another gentleman that had stepped up towards the end of our ordeal, that was trying to make phone calls and trying his best to help. I didn't catch his name, because the radio went off with a message that the situation was being rectified, so my kiddo and I literally ran off. But thank you for your kindness and willingness to help as well. It did not go unnoticed or unappreciated! Thank you!
Pond Hill Farms is incredible on its own... But to have these four specific employees on your team... Pond Hill Farms, (and it's customers), are VERY lucky to have them. They made our scary/crappy situation a lot better! It could have been so much worse. I will forever be grateful to them. And grateful for all the amazing memories myself, my son, and my dog had prior to the incident. There's so many unique and fun things to do, with delicious food... We were there for HOURS and never got bored. They also have a large selection of wine and beer, some they even make! I do not drink, so I cannot rate the alcohol selection.... But I bet it's pretty dang good, as they seem to grow almost everything needed right there on the farm. They also offer LIVE MUSIC throughout the seasons!!
There's also a gnome hunt, a trout feeding pond, unique vendors, beautiful scenery... I could keep going. Definitely worth the long drive we took to get there! The fall colors were INCREDIBLE! And they have fun activities that change throughout the year with the seasons! I also very much appreciate that they allow dogs, as our boy is part of the family and we take him everywhere.
I cannot express the amount of happiness this place brought my family, and the extremely helpful and empathetic staff they have!
So, Yes!!! Yes I will DEFINITELY recommend this place to others, every chance I...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Pond Hill Farm not too long ago and I could not have been more impressed, pleased or excited about this adventure. It’s a beautifully quaint and tranquil ’off the beaten path’ absolute gem! It’s almost like being transported into a different time where simplicity and relaxation take over and a cell phone isn’t even a passing thought. The owners have cultivated an atmosphere of welcoming everyone into not just their business but to also to share in this wonderful part of their life that they have created. They have endless acres of farmland, greenhouses, a breathtaking landscape, sectioned areas to eat outside and enjoy the incredible view, a huge old barn that houses wood available for sale as well as a few animals (I’m pretty sure those are keepers though), popular games that have been adapted to farm life by repurposing farm equipment and very creatively using gourds. The highlight of this treasure in the woods is the store/restaurant/bar which mimics the old wooden barn sitting right next to it.
While the atmosphere at Pond Hill Farm is nothing short of stellar, the wine they produce and sell rivals even the finest Italian or French wines that can be found. It’s pure magic in a bottle that should be purchased by the dozens simply put. Pond Hill has truly perfected the art of wine making. They also offer coffee, jams, linen kitchen towels, hoodies and t-shirts with the Pond Hill Farm logo on them plus so many other creative, cute and useful items for sale. Also offered is rustic and relaxing dining with an array of delicious foods made fresh in an immaculate kitchen that is situated between the indoor and outdoor eating spaces so it’s on display if you like to see what’s happening. The staff they have are amazing as well. They are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely happy to be there. The owners are even right in the mix shoulder to shoulder with their employees doing whatever job needs to be done. How refreshing is that?!Another important attraction is their parking, it’s ample and easily accessible and only a short distance to the main area. A quality they possess that cannot be seen is transparency, Pond Hill Farm hides nothing from its patrons, literally you can see everything. I...
Read morePosting here as I tried to post an honest factual review to their page on Facebook and five minutes later I was blocked. They couldn't even take the time to reach out about our experience or even apologize. We drove 2 hours yesterday to get there, we go every year for the past 8 years. Never had a negative experience before. Yesterday we were turned around at the entrance and told to leave, as they were at capacity and shut down for the day. There's no cell service there so we pulled over on the side of the road to decide what to do. For 45 min we watched a steady stream of probably 100 cars being turned away with just as many leaving the parking lot. Finally a kind worker came out to check on us and stated that the township put a cap on the capacity this year. I asked why we weren't being allowed in when so many people were leaving the parking lot. He said they had asked the owners what to do in the case they reached capacity and they were not given an answer. The owners essentially threw their employees to the wolves as they were the ones in the line of fire from angry customers. They couldn't even take the time to come up with a contingency plan. I thought by posting a factual review they might reach out, yet they acted like children and blocked me from their Facebook page, trying to cover up the fact that there were big issues yesterday with lots of angry customers. The worst part was I had a friend that had arrived 30 min before us, and made it in, and they said it was pretty slow inside. I know people drive very long distances to get here so I just want this to serve as a warning that you could be turned away when you arrive. I feel horrible for their staff as I know they were just taking direction from management. Also beware that if you have an issue the owners will make no attempt to reach out to you to even simply apologize. You will be blocked so they can sweep it...
