J T's Stovetop BBQ Co — Restaurant in West Union

I'm from out of town, at a family reunion in Bentonville. JT's has good reviews and have been around a long time. I was in charge of dinner one night so I ordered ahead. We got brisket. Buns, beans, my daughter made her recipe for Mac and cheese. JT's did not disappoint! The brisket was moist and tender. Their sauce is amazing. Everyone was delighted with dinner. I highly recommend JT's, be sure to call ahead, they'll make sure to save enough...

-Pulled pork was very dry, no flavor really, no salt at all, no smoke flavor, I would guess it was cooked in a oven.

-Brisket was the same, but it wasn't dry. Just had no flavor of any kind really. Seasoning goes a long way, and to get the fat to render like it should is only accomplished by long slow cooks with good air flow, which makes me think it was over cooked as well.

One of my absolute favorite places! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. The people are super nice. And the food is some of the absolute best food, it’s always served at the perfect temperature.
