Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in West Virginia

It is the only pizza place in the town of Winfield so we don't bite the hand that feeds us but we can complain about the grip.

The bleak and dismal environment at the Winfield Giovannis could be compared to the Valleys DMV. The workers are rude, you wait forever, and you leave wondering how you can get through life never having to step foot inside and face the ill-mannered employees of that establishment ever again. I have never met a kind person at this pizza place. Could acting like you have a stick up your butt and being mad at the world be a side effect of the rivers toxic waters thus polluting the air these employees breathe all day? You'll have to ask the Putnam county court house employees. Alas, I digress. Customer service needs serious improvement but I highly doubt anyone from this store cares. We can only pray Liberty Square brings more booming business to this small town so we can have more options to eat at a pizza establishment where you don't feel like a worker wants to shank you for simply stepping through the door. Ok, I've been away from WV and the hometown food I loved and had to have a Giovanni pizza but was very disappointed. Very. 1 lg cheese and half pepperoni pizza with 2 orders of hot wings. $42. WTH.. The pizza was alright but the wings come from a damn pigeon. If y'all charge that high if a price now for the Giovanni experience, then weigh the wings for price difference. I guess I'll have to order a Gino's pizza or drive to Huntington for a Montys pizza next time. So...
