Hardee’s — Restaurant in West Virginia

Growing up we had Hardee's local, but that was many years ago. Whenever I travel I like to stop at Hardee's because they are always good and I always enjoy the quick bite. This Hardee's visit may have changed that.

The workers were pleasant, and the location clean. That was the best part. Kudos to the restaurant for having staff at all these days.

The burgers were tossed together haphazaradly and were dripping with condiments. The fries were dead cold. Normally I'd give a busy place a pass, especially during the current times where no one wants to work and everyone is understaffed. This is an exception as we were the only customers in the place and when we sat down I observed 2 workers outside smoking. Everyone deserves a break, but don't rush out food to go smoke.

I've worked in restaurants, you do your job and take a break if you can. It was dead enough that I'm sure they could have spent 1 extra minutes to put down fresh fries and properly assemble the burgers and still have...

Pulled in here for lunch while on the road. Drive through. Ordered a burger meal, a mushroom and Swiss burger meal and a 5 piece order of chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce. After paying and being given drinks, was told to pull up front as they were waiting on fries. Food came out roughly 8 minutes later - without honey mustard and with a burger with a ripped squashed bun which looked like someone had sat on it. Fries, which we had been waiting to be made, were cold. On going in to get honey mustard was told they were out. Wouldn't have ordered the tenders if I had known there was no honey mustard. Tenders overdone and dried out. Poor...

Stopped here for something quick to eat because it was late and we didn't want "traditional" fast food. Hardee's has a special place in my arteries and I will never complain if it's where I end up. The burgers are so delicious and juicy but not greasy. The cheese and buns are always really amazing too. Easy to eat while driving if needed. The chicken strips were on point. It also looked like only one woman was working that night. She was behind the grill and at the window taking orders and passing food out. She kept up with the line and never broke a smile I could see. She definitely deserves recognition of this...
