King's Pizza Pronto — Restaurant in West Virginia

Came here to try it out since it opened new, None of the internal decoration has been changed from the previous owner, So the atmosphere was kind of boring to me as someone who came here before. I was really hoping for some fresh branding. The staff were unfriendly and stared me and my brother down upon walking in. except for the cashier, He took my order with a smile, easy to talk to. Unfortunately, he rang me up for the food without confirming the price with me, as I had only asked how much the price of a large pepperoni pizza would be.

I ended up ordering the Second to largest size, and waited for my food to come. it took a reasonable amount of time, however, the quality of the pizza itself was nothing remarkable. Especially for the extremely exorbitant cost of it. Not even being the largest size, it ran me about $19 after taxes. Additionally, they upcharged me for using a card to pay instead of cash, without telling me. I didn’t notice until I checked the receipt. Honestly it wouldn’t be a problem if it was told to me up front with either signage or by the cashier. But it is what it is.

In summary, the quality of the pizza was average at best for the cost. Honestly, just order from Costco if you’ve got a membership. It’s worth the drive compared to this place.

I love their pizza. But I really wish they would use better meat for their steak and cheese subs. The steak and cheese subs taste good, but the meat they use is full of like fat/gristle strands. So when I take a bite there’s just stretchy strands of fat/gristle stretching between the bite I just took and the sub until they snap or pull out of the sub. And then chewing the fat/gristle strands is like chewing rubber bands and no matter how much you chew you can’t chew up the strands of fat/gristle then when you swallow you can feel them stretching down your throat… Maybe it’s just me but it’s so gross. Any time I order a steak and cheese sub I have to sit and dig through all the meat to try and pull out all the strands before I start eating or I’ll gag. The photos I added are the strands I pulled out of just 1/2 of the sub. All the meat is meat that’s directly attached to the fat/gristle strands.

Y’all are great, your pizza’s great, your subs taste good, but your steak sucks…maybe find...

I wouldn’t give it even one star!!! Please save your money and do not eat here. I bought myself lunch yesterday and my total was $28.33. They make you buy $25 worth of their food to receive delivery then charge you another $4 for a delivery charge then charge another $1 for a non-cash adjective. I went ahead with the ordered even though I thought against it and When I woke up this morning, I had a notification from Cash App saying that Kings pronto updated the balance and it was now $32.33. I have a digital receipt that says my total was $28.33… so why the updated amount? I also asked for my food to be placed on the porch for contactless pick up and the delivery driver refused to leave it there until I opened the door. Food was okay but not worth the prices or the hassle.
