Subway — Restaurant in West Virginia

I Do not frequent the Subway however I have been here on many Occasions. I Would like to begin by saying the staff here is outstanding! Always eager to offer service with a smile even During very tough circumstances.

I noticed this same thing happened about a year ago exactly. I got out of my truck and it was about 85ﾟ Sunny and hot. I was excited to get inside to cool off in the air conditioning. But to my shock it was 86ﾟ in the restaurant. At least outside there was a breeze. It was so hot in fact the ice machine with the fountain drink machine was unable to maintain ice.

I know that in business lots of unforeseen events can happen to cause a business to struggle. At this particular time there was a water leak in the building In the owner stated that he had walked in to 3" of standing water. Additionally outside under the Asphalt parking lot there was an additional water Leak. And as mentioned before the Ice machine was not working.

Now the owner I'm sure was grateful for the business. And as my friend and I sat There, sweating and eating, The honor didn't even as much as offer us a discount due to the conditions or even a free fountain drink. Just didn't seem like smart...

Me and my Fiancé ordered on their online app for the 2 footlongs for $5 each. We drove about 15 minutes to get to the location for pickup. There was only one employee working the whole shop, with a nearly empty bar and only 2 kinds of bread available. When I arrived, my order and another man's who ordered online weren't even started. When the employee finally started my order, he was getting it completely wrong and blaming the app for it. He did not seem apologetic or strive to make things right. Horrid service. The lady working wouldn't even look at the coupon I had presented to make sure the establishment accepted them. But she immediately informed me I could only make an order for sandwiches off the Build You Own menu, which I wasn't familiar with.
