Torlone's Pizza — Restaurant in West Virginia

Very Disappointed!!! Poor Customer Service!!! If I could give negative stars I would. It's surprising to experience this kind of customer service at a small place like Torlone's. I placed an inquiry through Torlone's Facebook page regarding an upcoming event. Fairly simple questions - Cover charge? Can we reserve a table? No response for 48 hours. Finally got a response. $5 was the response I received. No other information given. I asked about reserving a table once again. 24 hours later I received "No". The owner responded by telling me she had better things to do than respond to inquiries.

The owner definitely has an attitude and should not be responsible for maintaining the social media account. Are you understaffed, overworked or just plain miserable? Just think of how much business you would have if you actually responded to customer inquiries. Many years ago I visited this establishment frequently and always had a great time. I guess nothing lasts forever.

And on a final note, one of the best things about learning how to give great customer service is that these skills are transferable to every other area of your life. Whether it's in a professional manner or in your personal life, people skills are valuable. And that's what customer service is. Will I be back? Nope!!! Never!! Not in a...

Absolutely amazing pizza, wings and pub ambiance.  This place is a true gem and one I'd gladly (and actually did) drive 35 minutes out of my way to enjoy the food and camaraderie.

My wife and I were taking a mini vacation in Northern Virginia and I thought it would be nice to have some authentic Italian pizza.  Torlone's came up on a Google Map search with decent reviews.  I like reviews, but trust photos... Torlone's looked authentic...Please believe me when I say this place deserves 7 Stars.

We didn't realize it when we sat down at the bar, but the personable woman behind the bar (Tina) was the owner now and had started working there 26 years ago.  The original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Torlone taught her all the secrets of authentic Italian Crust and Sauce, made from scratch. Even the blue dressing is made in house.

Almost Heaven West Virginia never felt closer than when we were there talking and joking with Tina & the regulars while enjoying some truly delicious pizza and wings.

I was talking on the phone with someone who works for the power company. He had to read a meter at Torlone Pizza. He was taking his break and was going to order food. The kitchen doesn't actually open until 2 PM. The owners offered to go and make him something to eat even though they were closed. He came out with a ham & cheese sub that looked amazing. He even said if you come over this way again and call ahead I will start the grills up and have it ready for you. I just thought that his absolute kindness was remarkable. So when I am in Harpers Ferry I will make it a point to stop and have something to eat. I also called to let them know how amazing it was for them to do that. I will make it a point to go to Harpers Ferry and stop to have a meal here. SUCH A WONDERFUL FAMILY OWNED...
