Very disappointed with the food. We called in a to-go order. I got the cod fillet with a side of potato salad and mac and cheese. My wife got popcorn shrimp with fries. We should have been concered when they said the food would be ready in 5 to 10min. The cod was a flat square fish patty. The mac and cheese was noodles with a little cheese on top, it was very flavorless and I found a long black hair in it. The potato salad was the best tasting thing of the meal. The cornbread was dry and very salty. The roll was like a dry sponge and there was a hair in it. My wife's food had minimal flavor, but otherwise wasn't bad. Except there was a long hair in the fries. The portions were quite small. We couldn't even finish our food. My Honey and I dined outside on the porch. It wasn't too busy and the service was amazingly quick. We got our food within ten minutes or so. He got a ham sandwich (I'm not sure what the proper name for it was) and I ordered the popcorn shrimp dinner with fries. The food was wonderful. It was cooked to perfection and plated well. The lemon packets they gave us with our water were also a new experience for me. I liked those better than actual sliced lemons in my water. I recommend this place. Great food. Hot and fresh! Waitress was very nice and helpful about a dessert question I had. We had one of the daily specials : country fried steak with 2 sides and a bread. Absolutely awesome. My boyfriend had hasbrown casserole and mac and cheese as his sides. I had hasbrown casserole as well and green beans. Excellent on the casserole!!!
