The Bog Restaurant — Restaurant in West Windsor

My wife and I went to The Bog at the Cranbury Golf Club for lunch after a trip to the general area in the morning. We were warmly greeted by Michael who made us feel welcome even though the facility was hosting a 'golf lunch on the go' for a large number of people. I ordered a French Dip and my wife ordered a Pulled-Pork Sandwich. My sandwich was quite large and very tasty. My wife summed up her lunch this way: "this was the best pulled-pork sandwich that I have ever had". The service was less than stellar! I can't blame waitress/bartender, as she was totally overwhelmed. The management was totally at fault. The food, once received, was very good. It was a holiday and a busy day on the course, and that should have been relayed to the restaurant. The wait ws over 45 minutes, if I were in charge someone would have been fired or at least put on notice! A chance to make some new customers, as well as serve current customers. Doubt we will be back to this course...

Was checking my out for a possible birthday party location and found the manager and staff to be very helpful and accommodating. The space is ample and the golf course looked great. I'd gone over earlier in the day and arrived as a post-golf tournament banquet was getting underway. If the smell of the food being served was a good indicator. It must be delicious. Will be returning this week to test/taste...
