I stopped by The Maple Kitchen on a Monday evening with some friends and decided to check this place out since it was open and nearby! The service could be improved tremendously. They were way understaffed for the amount of traffic they got at this resort. They had what seemed like 2 servers for the entire restaurant (and when they got busy for dinner rush included an additional dining room) and the person making drinks at the bar was timid and slow. I watched drinks pile up on the bar waiting for someone to pick them up and deliver them to a table. The two servers were also tasked with bussing. The chef (or someone in the kitchen) was bringing food out because I am guessing plates were overwhelming the servers back there as well. When we walked in one of the servers asked if we had a reservation and referenced a blank book and then we're flustered by our party of 6. The server we did have did a decent job despite the rush and was friendly and chatting appropriately with all of her tables. All that to say, the food is pretty good! All of our dishes we were sharing came out at once. The highlights were the Steak Tips and Glazed Salmon which were both cooked to order, well portioned, and flavorful- we actually ordered a 2nd round of each and the quality was consistently good! They each come with a serving of vegetables, which was a huge heap of potatoes and a few asparagus or green beans depending on the dish. The Alfredo Pasta was pretty flavorless and Calamari was overly salty, so I would avoid those. The dessert menu is great! We really enjoyed the Cobbler which came hot and had a good mix of flavors and textures as any good cobbler should. If you're in the area, this is worth a stop in and if you're visiting the resort, it certainly gets the job done- just expect to spend some time here while the service gets their bearings.

WOW! We had one of the he best all around meals, ever. We started with calamari and French onion soup. The calamari wasn't over cooked, (hard to do) seasoned and CRUNCHY, as well as fresh! Soup was homemade, flavorful and rich. The croutons was thick, the cheese plentiful and well melted. The maple glazed salmon was PERFECTLY cooked, with PERFECT asparagus. I wish it had been served with rice instead of mashed potatoes but they were good. Steak tips were FANTASTIC. Cooked to order with green beans and served with mashed potatoes. Neither of us had to season our food it was that perfect. The Sweet Old Fashioned made with brandy and maple syrup was Amazing! We will be going back tomorrow night!!!

I’m a disabled Army Veteran and I came here because it’s convenient inside the resort. As soon as you walk in they make you feel like your home. They seat you and make sure your okay. The food comes out so fast. Marisa was my waitress and she goes above and beyond for her customs. The whole team there is amazing. I have eaten there twice and I’m back there Thursday and I’m bring my friend with me. The flatbread is amazing. I add the candy bacon on top of my flatbread. The chicken Cobb salad is so good. It’s the wings though my god they are soo good. Everything is fresh and made with lots of love. Check it out if you’re in town. Tell them Mo sent you. Highly recommend.

We''d been looking forward to returning to this restaurant since we were here 3 years ago and had absolutely loved it. Boy were we disappointed. Evidently, the chef who prepared all those delicious dishes is no longer there and the food reflected that. First, they were extremely low staffed. One person, Caleb, was running the entire restaurant with occasional help from another guy, not sure who he was. We had to go to the bar to be seated and waited quite a while after seated. Caleb was literally doing front of house, bar and waiting tables. I have Celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. I asked and reminded several times that I need gluten free and he assured me that he would make "triple sure" all my food was gluten free. We ordered the maple wings which was our favorite thing on our previous trip. Not this time. They were bloody by the bone and tasted old. I was unable to eat them. Also, I ordered a garden salad and it came with croutons. From the beginning I should've known they weren't that familiar with my particular dietary restriction, so I proceeded extremely cautiously. We ordered the "short ribs" as our entree. I received a very large glob of fat with minimal meat on it and we decided instead of short rib, this was a chuck roast. Before I began to eat, I assured with Caleb that it was gluten free and he said he had checked with the chef and he assured it was. It tasted ok and the mashed potatoes were really good. Came with asparagus that had barely been cooked. I hate that this is the worst restaurant review I've ever made, but I have to tell the truth. This morning, next day, I'm in a great deal of abdominal pain and upset. I know I was served gluten and I'm so disappointed. This is my vacation and I"m always so very careful so that I don't get sick. They need to look at their kitchen practices and do better. I told my husband that, while I will come back to this resort, I will never eat at this restaurant again. Too many great places nearby to pay $140 for a meal that was...

The start of our first time here was rough. We had a reservation for 8. They were trying very hard to follow all the necessary covid restrictions in the restaurant but it was extremely busy so we were finally sat around 850. The hostess tried her best but was obviously overwhelmed and struggling. The tiny blonde manager, a waiter, and the hostess got into a very loud and public argument. So inappropriate and very embarrassing to watch a Manager behave in that manner and to trest their own staff so awful almost caused us to leave. However it all goes up from here!!! The executive chef came out apologized to our party, thanked us for our patience, let us know they would be taking care of our appetizers. He took our drink order, made recommendations for apps, and dinner, then took that order as well! They are currently re-writing and re-working their menu. The chef insisted we try their "Tater tots!" None of us thought they sounded great or special. BUT oh my God!!! One of the best appetizers any of us had ever had!!!! So great. Menu description does them no justice. Butternut squash ravioli, Ribs, steak, and chicken were all EXCELLENT as well. Make sure you get the Salted caramel cheesecake!! So happy we stuck it out and stayed! Wonderful executive chef! Hope he gets some new staff as...
