Lenny's at Hawkes Plaza — Restaurant in Westbrook

I love the vibe of this place, the music and the environment. Food is quite good too! My 2 star review pertains to the service. We had Jacqueline tonight and she was awful. She never checked on our appetizers or main courses, never refilled drinks, made eye contact or communicated with us at all. I’ve been a server for over 15 years and I expect at least the bare minimum of communication or courtesy from waitstaff, even if they’re busy. I refuse to give my hard earned dollars to servers who don’t even try to earn it. The only time she was slightly attentive is when we were paying and she did nothing to ensure we were having a positive experience until then. Maybe hire additional help on the weekends? I hope this comes across as constructive as this place is...

Took my wife out on a long overdue, Friday date-night and wanted to check Lenny's out because it had been a few years since I'd been there, and they did not disappoint. Grabbed primo, outside seating for dancing to the live music, which by the way, the band: The Orbits, had everyone wiggling in their seats & dancing to classic hit the whole set. Those guys could jam!!

Our server, the step master, "Kay-Kay" was also incredible. Either she's a really good actor, or she genuinely liked her job because it was obvious she was having fun. She was in high spirits all night and left all of her with laughter & smiles, every time.

Amazing food, fun & inviting atmosphere, outstanding service, and ample parking. What more could you ask for!?

What a wonderful evening! The atmosphere - casual, fun, inviting. Food, A-1, locally sourced when available; fresh; delicious! The chef made even the deviled eggs something out of the ordinary . YUMMY! I was pleased how they readily adapted the food to fit my friend’s needs: gluten, dairy etc. Alecia, our waitress was knowledgeable and gracious and entertaining!

Travis James Humphrey!!! WOW! Amazingly talented guitarist and vocals that go from honey smooth to hard hitting raspy rock! More than once I was certain there must have been a second guitar playing up there, but no, it was his amazing skill and talent!!!! Hope to hear him again this month!
