These people must be used to customers trying to rip them off or get free food out of them or something!! I have only been to this location 4 times. 3 times were horrible experiences and the 4th time was to get my food replaced. The only reason I even come by here is because it's directly on the way home from work since I work at Polaris at night, and take Cleveland Ave home. I ordered 4 Egg McMuffins, and I requested NO canadian bacon, instead I wanted regular bacon EXTRA crispy or burnt. The young lady who was taking my order must have misunderstood, and the manager asked me and corrected it. Also, I was asked to pull over to wait for the bacon which is no problem at all. While I was waiting, the sandwich maker also came out and double checked about the sandwiches which I thought was really nice! That was great, I told 4 people so far including the manager how I wanted my food (it was a crazy request!) So it should have been correct. When the manager brought my food out, I made the mistake of only opening ONE sandwich, which appeared to be how I wanted it. So I thought nothing of it and drove off. When I got home, we started eating and 2 of them were decent and 2 of them were discusting!!!!! By that time it was already 10:35am and I live all the way in Gahanna. So the best i could do was call and complain instead of driving all the way back to be told breakfast is over. I also took a picture of the bacon which was not even close to well done. The man on the phone took my name on a list. I came back after work the next morning, and at first the manager refused to replace my order (she said she was standing right there while she watched them make it.) Be that as it may, only 2 of my sanwhiches were made correctly. She raised hell in a calm way, and stated that she didn't feel comfortable replacing my order. We didn't argue or anything, but she made it extremely hard for me to cooperate with her and I have a hard time understanding why she she had such a big deal replacing my order when I even showed her a picture of the nasty bacon that was on my sandwiches!!!!! I showed her the picture and asked her if it had looked well done to her, and I never even got an answer. She brushed it off and continued to argue that she watched the sandwiches get made. ANY OTHER PLACE would have replaced my food no problem, and seen their own mistake when I had visible proof in front of her face and she still didn't believe me!! It wasn't like I was trying to steal from her, wait that's exactly what she acted like!! She said she was the Manager and the Owner of this Mcdonald's, and she acted as if I were trying to rob her for about $500 over two petty $2.00 sandwiches!!!!!!!! I have NO problem buying a $2 sandwich, if I can afford Coach, I can afford a stupid $2 sandwich!!!!!!!!!! The fact of the matter is, she may or may not have been standing there watching my food get made. Who cares? 2 of my sandwiches were incorrect and she gave me a VERY hard time about it. All & all, she replaced 2 of my sandwiches (and the bacon was STILL NOT WELL DONE OR BURNT LIKE I ASKED!!!) plus she gave me my money back for 2 of them without me asking for it. They have messed up all 4 times that I have been here, had extremely bad and unprofessional customer service, and the wait time in the drive thru is horrble. The manager/owner had stated this to me, exact words: "Well we do our best everyday. If we mess your order up so much, then I suggest you not come to this location anymore." Is that professional? I don't think so. There is always room for improvement, so maybe you need to improve rather than drive away your customers!!!! Everyone who I know who lives around there and goes there has told me to steer clear of this one and go to the other one right down the road by O'charleys instead. Thats what I intend to do after work!!!!!! I will NEVER come back to this...
Read moreMy kids love coming and playing in the play place and on the game computers in the dining room. They get to run around and have fun, I enjoy watching them play and can sit back and relax a little. I'm giving 3☆'s today because there was a spill or something right outside of the play place door. They put up a wet floor sign, but didn't mop it up the whole time we were there which was 2 1/2-3 hours. They were a little busy when we first got there around 5, but died down within minutes. When the play area closed, an employee was inside mopping, he had to walk right past the wet floor sign and decent size puddle of liquid, yet failed to mop it up on his way in or out of the play area. That shows me lack of respect and safety concerns for customers and fellow employees alike, on top of having the company's best intrest in mind knowing if someone were to fall, the company could be sued and have negative attention due to the fact.
Another employee was out in the dining area at the same time, cleaning trash off of the table right behind ours and only being 2 tables away from the spill, also ignoring the fact that there's an accident waiting to happen only a few feet from and in plain sight of where he was standing, but he put busing the table his priority. Doesn't make sense to me. He had the audacity to ask us if the trash on the table he was about to clean off was from us, which it wasn't. We didn't order food, only drinks and our cups were still sitting in front of us, but even if it was my family's trash, what was the point of him asking? Did he plan on asking us to clean it up or what? That, to me, was rude and he was more worried about whether we left our trash or not then worrying about the safety issue. Kinda makes me not want to go back to that location. Anyone could have fallen and gotten hurt which isn't good no matter how you look at it, but the fact it was right outside of the play place door where kids are running in and out of, let's be honest, most of them aren't paying attention to what's on the floor in front of them, caused huge...
Read moreI frequent this McDonald's fairly regularly as it's less than a mile from my work. Typically, when I eat INSIDE, the food tends to be fresh and I LOVE that they give you a number thingy to put on your table and they bring your food to you. That's awesome!
I went through the drive-thru this afternoon (apprx 1 p.m.) and ordered the 10-pc nugget meal. When I opened up the box, my nuggets were EXCEPTIONALLY soggy and old. NOT GOOD! However, I do know that things like this happened so I attempted to rectify the situation by contacting the restaurant.
When they finally answered the phone, it was very unprofessional and they didn't state their name. When I politely asked to speak with a manager on duty, the woman indicated I could speak with her. I then inquired about her name, again being friendly, and I mentioned I liked to know who I was speaking with, rather than answering my questions she said "What's YOUR name? I like to know who I'm speaking with too." Wow, ok...um, and I shared my name. She finally said her name was Ebony. I couldn't believe the animosity coming from her.
I explained the situation. She said they pride themselves on quality but that this was their rush hour. Uh ok... I would've thought that would make for fresher, not older... She first said I could bring everything back and she'd replace the meal. However, I explained that I was at work and unable to bring it back but that I would take a picture to show her how soggy they were, she said she would put my name in the book for the 10-piece nuggets. I wasn't expecting to be given anything special, so I would say the result was 'adequate'.
The reason I rated this restaurant 3 stars is because of when you go in to eat only. Drive-thru seems to be where they ditch their older products (at least in my experience). Had I based my rating solely on today's terrible (exceptionally bad customer service) experience, I would've tried to give this location a 1 star (since you...
