Went to Tobiko the other night with a large party. We had called the night before to make sure they could accommodate our party we were told yes and they could sit us together. We we arrived the next day the waitress was extremely Rude and could only offer to split the party up and sit was all at different tables. Then when we sat down at a table Just the six of us we asked if they could split the check just once. The waitress continued to be rude and then said no. She said to look at the menu and it tells you this. Well when you read the menu it says for parties of 6 the check can be split up to 4 times. When I politely pointed this out to the waitress she said it was wrong and that she’s worked there for years and they don’t do that. I have gone to Tobiko many times and they never had a issue splitting up our bill. This waitress was so incredibly rude we all ended up leaving and they lost out on a huge party and a lot of Money. Unfortunately I won’t be going back to Tobiko for a very long time. You can have great food but if you don’t value your customers and your ok being extremely rude and unprofessional your going to lose out on a...
Read moreFood is good, wait staff has always been good as well. Ramen is the main reason I order but if they didn’t have that I’d just go to K’s if you want sushi. The best time to go is when you can sit outside and watch the planes. My only low points are the teenagers in the back that have been disruptive every time I go whether it’s eating in or picking up. I’ve gone to pick up my food and normally there’s someone there to help but there’s the occasional times when I would have to wait even though I’ve made eye contact with the people beyond the bar. I don’t mind waiting sometimes but when staff can blatantly see me waiting and ignore me it can get irritating. Especially when I’m watching them playing around, not sure if they’re unaware that theyre visable or not but the time I went in and just saw the staff on their phones and taking selfies while I waited definitely ticked me off a tad. Having fun at work is totally okay but if your customers that are waiting can see you goofing off its for sure a ding in the whole experience for...
