As we arrived, walked up the driveway and entered the rustic structure, we were transported back to a simpler time. Neighbors greeting neighbors. Trusting one another. They love to share the syrup making process with anyone who listens and welcome everyone they can. No reservations, first come first serve, so get there 30-40 minutes before you want to eat, but people are generally respectful and move through quickly knowing everyone wants to eat the delicious food and learn about syrup. We haven’t been dining out much, but they have fantastic social distancing in place and it felt really safe and friendly. The breakfast was delicious as always (get the French toast) and we loaded up on dark maple syrup and candies in the shop before we left. Where else can you see the syrup being made as you eat it?
