I am just so sad, my first visit to this coffee shop was not the best. Let's start out positive. The atmosphere and vibe is amazing inside, and so comfortable. My job has me driving to all kinds of places and stopping in a coffee shop with wifi is essential for the kind of work I do. Of all coffee shops I have been to, this was the first time I was able to sit down and immediately focus and get to work. It was my first visit and I was truly enjoying myself, although I didn't order a coffee because I simply was not craving one. One of the staff members came up to me and kindly asked if they can get me something and I said no thank you I'm fine right now, but she proceeded to make me feel uncomfortable and said "this is not a library" and I kind of have to get something. I told her I can leave if she wants me to, and she said she would never ask someone to leave.... well at that point her vibe made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. People ALWAYS go to coffee shops all the time and relax and do work on their laptops without necessarily ordering something, it's not a restaurant. Even the WIFI password is accessible and visible to the public on the wall, so that made me think it's okay to sit, use their wifi and do some work. I was going to get something to snack on but I was in a hurry to get something turned in, and the lady who approached me just ruined the overall experience. Obviously it is their business and they can do whatever they want, and kick out whoever they want for whatever reason, but based on the other reviews they seem like those who work there are very nice to everyone else so I will try not to judge them as people, but from a customer service standpoint I...

We got there about 155 and they close at three. We were trying to place an order with them and He was shooting us like we didn’t speak when we were both born and raised in Westlake, Ohio. He spoke down to us the entire time and When it was time for us to get out drinks we asked if he could put it in glass cups like the 20 other people in the cafe were doing and he started to get upset saying that he just cleaned the other cups and he was started to close mind you it was 155 and they close at 3 and the cafe was still filled w people who all had the glass cups. At this point I told my sister let’s just leave and get a refund bc he was being so rude. At this point he started to get in my sisters face and wanting her to start a probably but we stayed calm because we know if we acted insane he would make it seem like it was our fault. We went to go tell our friends what happened and he started yelling in front of everyone that we are staying when we should leave. We walked out and he followed us outside and started recording all the cars license plates. It was a very scary experience for me and my sister especially bc we were a bunch of girls and he was an angry man...
Read moreIt's always a pleasure to walk in on a Saturday or Sunday morning and get my fix! Even though I can only make it in usually once a week, I recognize regulars. It's awesome to see a community developing so quickly in the few months Coffee Therapy has been open. Last weekend, I was behind a family where the little boy could not wait to rush to the counter to show the owners his new toy. Which of course, the owners fawned over the little guy and matched his excitement. It was just an adorable, feel-good moment. I go into the shop in a good mood and leave in a great mood!
Oh, and of course the coffee is wonderful! Finally found my favorite drink: the Cafe Aimee. There's something new every time I go in. So glad that an indie coffee shop is here to stay in...
