The setting is beautiful. We came for the Easter Buffet, $40 adults, $20 kids. I reserved the buffet for 7 adults, 1 child. I had heard the food was really good, however, it was one of the most unpleasant meals I’ve had. The food was terribly under seasoned and had no flavor. The watermelon was mushy and tasted old as did the cooked veggies. The best thing on the buffet was the muffins and danish! My grandson ordered apple juice. When the waitress brought it, we thought it was fresh apple juice. However, when he tasted it, he have an awful face so we tried it only to find out it was grapefruit juice! We did get it replaced with apple juice. Then to ask for the bill, the waitress gave us her tablet with only a total on it. It showed $400+. So I paid the bill in cash, and gave the waitress a tip. Then I was talking to my daughter about the bill, 7 adults @$40, and 1 child @$20, which was $300! No special drinks - 1 apple juice, 2 cokes, and 6 waters. So, I went to the bar to ask how they came up with over $400 and the lady at the bar said she’d get me a receipt. When she brought the receipt, she said it was because “gratuity” was automatically put on. When I told her that I gave the original waitress $80 for tip, she said she will refund the extra tip. The original waitress never told us that the gratuity was automatically added. Who would give $150 tip for a $300 buffet??? A server for a buffet requires minimal service, as the food is already out, no order taking, etc. I believe she knew that she got us as she never came back to the table and went out of her way to avoid eye contact with us! I fully believe in tipping but to be taken advantage of is another subject. This is why servers get a bad rap and she should have been relieved/fired on the spot! I don’t believe we will patronize the Legacy Grill again, very...
Read moreThere is a new restaurant in the Legacy Ridge Golf Course. I stopped going to the grill at Legacy Ridge because the owner was greedy, the staff were mean-spirited, and they even lied about the menu. The entire experience became unpleasant enough that it was no longer worth the visit, even though the location itself was convenient.
Now there’s a new restaurant in its place called Big Fork, and the difference is night and day. The wine list is still on the smaller side, but it is 1000% better than before, offering options that feel far more thoughtful and appealing. Even more impressive is the change in staff, which is probably the single biggest improvement of all. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the restaurant an enjoyable escape from the humdrum of daily life for the...
Read moreThe Grill at Legacy Ridge is a wonderful place to hold an event!! Sydni and her team did an outstanding job for our family celebration. Sydni is super responsive and easy to work with. She makes sure that all the necessary details are taken care of. The venue has one of the most beautiful views of the Front Range plus is very affordable for this area. The staff was professional and responsive and also very flexible in making our celebration special. We were able to bring in our own decorations ahead of time and make small changes at the last minute without any issues. With that said, the food was incredible and all of our guests commented on how wonderful everything tasted. We would highly recommend The Grill at Legacy Ridge to...
