Sams Highland Pizza — Restaurant in Westmoreland

The food here is quite delicious, and I recently placed an online order. However, there was a minor hiccup. After making my order, I received a call from the restaurant, informing me that they were out of boneless wings. Regrettably, they couldn't provide bone-in wings as a substitute, so I had to request a refund, which takes two days to process. In the end, I had to reorder, including bone-in wings, with only a slight price difference of $1.50. Also, if you're a fan of sauces like ranch or other options, be prepared to pay extra. As a regular customer, especially for their pizza, I believe there's room for improvement in their customer service. In my experience, most other places would have offered bone-in wings as a substitute, which would have made the process much smoother. Given these factors, a 3 out of 5 stars rating...

They know how to make quality pizza. Five stars is LESS than fair on taste and service alone. They ALWAYS answer the phone, and they are polite and prompt with their delivery. They understand that in making their fine product that season and proper preparation are crucial. Location wise, you don’t have a lot of other choices, but I’d still order from them over Papa Johns or ANY big chain. Prices are very reasonable (25$ will feed a family of 5 and lunch for Dad they next day). I do have one area of improvement to add: the sides could use some more variety in that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of options other than the usual pizza sides. I’d like to see different types of bread/cheese sticks as well as some different baked pastas, only because if they can make a pizza like that I don’t see how anything else...

I ordered from here 2 weeks ago for the first time since moving back to Westmoreland and I personally think Highland Pizza is Awesome! Customer service was the best I've experienced compared to other chain stores. I ordered online and got the Chicken Spinach Alfredo Pizza and added black Olives and Mushrooms! It was So Good and Fresh. I LOVED every bite! And online ordering was a breeze even with going to their FB page to order! Definitely a better online ordering experience than the bigger chain stores too. It was smooth, simple and easy to navigate. I order pizza every other Friday on Payday and I look forward to ordering from here on my "Pizza Paydays" for as long as possible! Keep up the good work...
