Old Mill Deli & Grocery was established in 1919 and the number one grocery and deli in Westport; it is the oldest in town too. New operators took over and they're called Romanacci. They have a wide array of food; from breakfast, coffee, sandwiches, and pizza. We ordered a large pizza takeout for lunch from there and it was good! They had a few picnic tables on their side patio. There were umbrellas so it was shady on a hot summer day to dine outside. The service was great and the pizza was huge. It came out fast, hot, and delicious; we ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni and half mushroom and caramelized onions. I loved the mushroom and caramelized onions portion; it was sweet and savory from the onions and cheese. There was a small parking lot and the place was popping. It's a great location because it's across the street from Compo Beach and surrounded by a neighborhood. It appears to be the neighborhood go to grocery, deli, and pizza restaurant. Overall, I recommend it and a wonderful asset to the town.

I had to use the restroom and there was no way to dry my hands. Place is in need of updating, but all in all the place was pretty good. They employee who helped me was really friendly, they salad was ok (aside from the soggy greens), and I walked 2 minutes down the road and ate the salad while looking at an excellent view of the water.

May I say charming ? Affirmatively delivers value for sure with great tasting Foods !! Order a large delicious pizza in all flavors you can feed a whole crowd in your meeting ! On your way home stop to pick up your dinner. So convenient and OMG brings neighborhood spirit to the next level. Always friendly staff with Chef Graziano checking your foods. And their Gelatos are sure to make all ages happy. It sure made my family to take a walk over !! Brought smile to our togetherness.

Great location but this place is so out of touch of what customers want. Cash only, no interior seating, kids lunch size chip bags just to name a few. I ordered an Italian combo and all toppings were listed on menu board so I ordered it as is. Lo and behold open this sandwich up and POW this thing is loaded down with raw onions ehh so gross. Fast forward a month and I give this place another shot but this time around I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which should be easy. Chicken was good but it looked like a five year old had rolled it up. It was beyond soggy and messy with everything falling out the backside. Drive a bit further and don’t let this place...
