Dave's Double Barrel BBQ — Restaurant in Westville

First time and definitely not my last. Ordered the Brisket sandwich with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Very generous portions and everything was outstanding. The restaurant was very clean and the owner Dave walked introduced himself which isn't something you see much of these days. The sauces was also outstanding and available at the counter. This is definitely one of the best BBQ restaurants in the country and I've been to some of the most famous BBQ joints in Kansas City, Memphis and in Alabama.

If you are traveling on I74 and passing through around Danville Illinois take the Route 1 Exit South and take the drive down to the edge of Westville. Definitely worth the few...

Fantastic place for BBQ! Very generous portions! Found out the owner is a old school mate ,1st grade - highschool. Neighbor too way back when. Food is excellent. Dave comes by your table and asks how everything was and says goodbye and come again. Glad you enjoyed your meal. Lots of seating/tables. 🤗😋👍🤤. Would recommend that you go here. I went to Dave's for the first time today, and ordered the 3 meat 🍖 sampler. All I have to say is YUUUM!! This was the BEST BBQ that I have had since I moved out of Texas and have lived in Illinois. I am NOT just saying that.😋 The women that took my order, and prepared it were SO SWEET!! They made me feel welcome, and the cashier even chatted it up with me.
