I can't believe how poorly my fiance and I were treated when we visited this location. We came to Popeye's for a quick dinner. To start it off, we couldn't order off the menu in the drive thru because there are no lights. The menu can't be read unless you shine a flashlight at it. To make matters worse, you can barely hear the staff through the speaker. What little you can hear has to be deciphered as the speech comes out as though their mic is cutting out. Ultimately, we decided to just go inside. At 30 minutes to close, the staff already had all the chairs put up and the disgusting floor mats were hanging from the divider rails that customers constantly put their hands on prior to receiving their meal. We stood in the lobby, waiting patiently to be assisted. One staff member walked past us, set a chair down, and proceeded to sit down and play on her phone. The manager was wiping the counter down. She looked at us twice, waited a full five minutes, then told us the lobby was closed. At this point, I was ready to give up and eat somewhere else. Unfortunately, Popeyes was the only place open within reasonable distance, short of McDonald's. We attempted the drive through again. Luckily, we had already decided what to order. As we waited in the drive through for our order to be taken, I can only imagine the staff was trying to wittle away the time until they could just tell me the drive through was closed as well. Finally, the staff took our order. I can honestly say that I have never had someone give me so much attitude through a microphone. To top it off, the only words spoken to me at the window was the exact price of my meal. Trying to be as nice as possible, I wished them a good night, to which the staff replied by looking away, holding a hand up at me, and shutting the window before walking away. I have never felt so disrespected by someone who doesn't even know my name. I was truly made to feel like less than dirt by 3 employees including a manager. I can only hope that someone steps in and gets rid of...
Read moreThis is a one star cause you can't put zero. I ordered online to pick up. I was about 15 minutes late. That was my fault cause I didn't realize the app automatically sends to the closest Popeyes and I just wasn't paying attention. So I was late, but when I was finally approached at the counter that was the first time they'd heard of my order. They proceeded to put my order together with all the speed of a slow lorus. After about 25 minutes I was told they were out of coleslaw. By this point I'm petty frustrated and told them to just take it off my bill. I was then advised that they'd have to cancel the whole order to do that. As tempted as I was to scrap the whole thing, I was not spending that much time to come away empty handed. So I said just put whatever. Do what you have to get me on my way. They handed me my order just 35 short minutes after my pick up time. I asked if they remembered my sauces and was asked what they were. In my frustration I said, isn't it on my receipt right there. So the manager walked back and looked and put some sauces in the bag. When I got home and dropped the food off (since I now had no time to eat before leaving for work), I found they gave us a ton of different mustards but didn't bother with the blackened ranch or sweet chili. My favorites. At least my guests got to eat, but damn what a...
Read moreWe stopped by this Popeyes after trying the first time on Mardi Gras when they were out of chicken. Still craving Popeyes we went by today but the doors were locked, but we saw people going through the drive through. So we ordered through the app and went through the drive-through where we were told to order at the window. After about 10 minutes we made it to the window and told the cashier that we had ordered through the app and gave them our name. Side note, looking through the drive-through window, we could see the state of the restaurant, which almost made us leave right then. It was disgusting! She could not find it initially, then told us to wait in another parking lot next the store and they would bring us the order. Ok fine we parked and waited. Two other cars went through and were given their orders. The cashier did look our dirrection a couple times so she knew we were still waiting. After waiting 30 minutes of waiting and multiple orders going out, we finally left and are not waiting on a refund. Our order was only an 8 piece tender meal. We drove past this location after getting a chicken sandwich at Wendy's across the street we noticed the doors were suddenly open with people going in and out. We ordered at 430 pm and waited until 5pm the store was...
