SimmersCreamy — Restaurant in Whately

I went there to get salted caramel ice cream and it was okay, nothing I would write home about. The flavor just tasted really watered down. The less than average score is for my experience with the staff. When I got back to my car with my ice cream I noticed that there was a hair in it so I went back up just so I could get a replacement. I wasn't trying to get a refund or get free ice cream or anything, and I certainly didn't give them a hard time because it was busy and I totally understand that accidents happen. I explained the problem to the cashier and she seemed more annoyed with me than anything. She aggressively slammed the freezer door shut after scooping my replacement ice cream, and then handed it to me without so much as an apology or even a "have a nice day," just the cold shoulder and some ice cream that ultimately just wasn't worth it, don't think I'll bother with this place again...

A nice place to visit on a hot day. The ice cream is good, but the portions seem small for the price. Farmland all around it with strawberries just starting to sprout up. The cashier got the prices and order wrong. We (5 of us) Told her it didn't seem right she redid her math and got closer. We did the math as we ate and it was still wrong, but not by much. 2 people in our group had ordered large sundaes, the rest small. They all came out small.
