I give 5 stars, people say its run down and doesnt measure up to the way it used to be and personally I understand there are a few changes to be made as with anything there can ALWAYS be improvements to be made, however I noticed that they have indeed been making those changes little by little and I understand like everyone else should that it will take time to bring it back to it's full potential as the best home cooking in town however it all starts with us as customers to not give up our faith in this family style restaurant, please show us your love and support, if u got a bad order or weren't 100% pleased with your experience I strongly recommend leaving a polite and friendly critical suggestion on a napkin or piece of paper on what we can do to improve your experience, and then the next time u come you can see for yourself issues ARE being worked out, please dont be so quick to give a bad review publicly because you never know who is working that day could have just lost a beloved family member or got evicted from their home and not enough business coming in so they cannot afford to take the day off. Everyone makes mistakes now and again and you wouldnt give up on family, and that's what we are, all a family, everyone that comes in we consider additions to our family and would love to see your faces again, let us get to know you so we can give u the service you desire. Lastly can I just say the pizza I had last night was mouthwatering and beautifully put together, I dont think I could've possibly done a better...
Read moreOrdered a medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese over the phone. They were out of large boxes so medium pizzas were only available. I asked the person that took my order over the phone if the extra cheese was worth getting and she said yes but the pizza would be a little more greasy and I said great, I will take it. Never been to this place so when I walked in I thought it was great that this small place had a full bar = my 3 star for atmosphere. The person at the counter showed me the pizza before I paid and when she opened the box I said it is burnt. The person said that was the only way to get the cheese to melt. She showed me the bottom and said " it is not burnt on the bottom". It was not overly scorched and I was hungry so I paid the $16 and took it home.
One of the worst pizzas I have ever tasted!- I ended up throwing most of it in the trash!
Besides being burnt, it had very little flavor, the sauce was dry as heck and bland. As you can see by the pictures - not a lot of cheese for the $2 for the extra cheese.
I read the reviews before I ordered and thought - their not to bad - I will give it a try - bad decision.
I usually do not post reviews, maybe their other food is good but the...
Read moreThe waitress vacuumed before taking our order, but cleared it with us after taking our drink order. (We take a while to order in a place that we have never been to.) There was a VERY loud patron that was quite disrespectful in the next booth. Luckily, they were on their way out.. (Both of which we can deal with.) The issue we had was that the waitress kept on about her "terrible cold", which we found disconcerting in a restaurant setting with an 'all you can eat buffet' (that she clearly set up that morning.) All in all, the portions were adequate for the price. (Both of which were a bit inflated.) Maybe we will try again, maybe not. He says the soup was good on the buffet, which was fully stocked. It's a breakfast/soup/salad/dinner item buffet for $10.99, so there were many choices. I got the nachos. Well layered chips, meat, and cheese with fresh greens on top. Endless sour cream! (Neither of us ended up getting sick from the waitress or the food, BTW) Three stars. Maybe we will go back and update it to 2 or 4 stars. Kinda on the fence about this one. Maybe we just hit it...
