Day 2 that I came through the drive through the opening manager asked me to come to the window, she then proceeded to tell me her grill was broken and she was waiting for a call back from her district manager. I've worked fast food jobs and can sympathize with broken equipment. She said she could only make food in the fryer so I ordered. She said it would be 6 minutes for my chicken strips. I sat in the drive through for 18 minutes and by that time 3 more vehicles had piled up behind me, one of which she did not know were 2 of my work mates from the power plant. Well one of them got the toaster sandwich meal that I originally wanted and the other a burrito meal. The same sandwich meal that she had just told me she could not make because her grill was broken and when I asked for the burrito as my second choice she said she couldn't make that either which brought us to the only fried foods available. Lying to your customers is extremely unprofessional and certainly not management material. The real cause of the issue that I can see is failure by the store manager and district manager to have not only enough staff, but properly placed staff in this location. I went through the drive through three times trying to give the benefit of the doubt, day 1 was my original review which she had one person in the kitchen to cook all the food and herself to handle all the drive through orders and drinks. Day 2 and 3 she was there opening the restaurant at 6am for the breakfast crowd by herself with no help. I would have sympathized with that if she was telling the truth to her customers. So minus 2 stars for poor work ethic and poor management. P.S. - when a customer orders your 44oz iced coffee, they expect to actually get a little coffee in there cup instead of you stuffing the cup to the top with crushed ice and putting only about 12 to 15oz of actual...

Many times we are in route to a ball game or etc. We aren't one to complain but, we've had so many bad experiences at the Whitehall, Arkansas Sonic. I feel it's not fair for the Owner of the Sonic not to be aware of how their customers are treated. The attitude and service of one of the employees at the (drive through window) is unacceptable. She is rude when you ask for napkins (that wasn't in the sack), and SLAMS the window. On another occasion our debit card was charged wrong and when questioned she was the rudest person again. I would never complain on just one occasion, this is on a weekly basis. I asked to speak to a manager, her reply was they are BUSY and SLAMMED the window again. If she is treating us like this, I can only imagine how many more customers you've lost due to her actions. Read moreWent to Sonic in White Hall during the middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Went through the Drive Thru for 2 flavored waters that were large. There was only 3 stalls full and 3 people including ourselves in the drive thru. We waited 10 minutes in the drive thru and never once saw the window open with something coming out of the restaurant. We then asked a young worker on break if we could go to a stall and wait for our drinks. The young lady said yes, and asked for what stall we were going to pull into since there was so many. We pull into stall 14. We ring in and told them we had 2 flavored waters from the drive thru, but went over to a stall because the drive thru was taking forever. We then have a worker approach us and tell us they never placed our orders in the first place I’m the drive thru.
