Mr. C's — Restaurant in White Lake Charter Township

Very letdown with my order which was a root beer float. The root beer was flat, tasted watered down. I've had a turtle sundae 5 years ago that was great, but this past Saturday 8/28/2022 service was horrible. My root beer float came in a foam cup without a cover filled to the brim so as soon as I grabbed it from the window it went all over my hand and got on my clothing. No napkins at all. Was in line for 25 minutes and this was the outcome of a root beer float that I was craving. I ended up going to the store buying my own ice cream and my own root beer and making my own root beer float after dumping theirs out on the side of the road. Without a lid I could not drive with the float and it was impossible to leave the line waiting to get to the window for service. So if you change your mind after sitting for 20 minutes you're stuck until it's your turn at the window then you have an option to leave. I won't go back there's a possibility someone could bring me an item from here again but I certainly won't be spending my money at Mr C's. Like I said a huge letdown yet the place is super busy so others must be happy with whatever items they received but for my item, I was very unhappy and the place was too busy to go back around wait to complain or ask for napkins or even to lodge a complaint. When the older owner is in-things are ok.... but most of the time the place is run by a bunch of teenagers who don't know/care what they're doing. The last few times I've been there have been consistently horrible – I tried going back to see if things got better but they only get worse! The first time, I ordered a blizzard and most of the cup was vanilla ice cream with about a teaspoon of Oreo in it, and it was right at the bottom. The second time, it was pretty similar. This time when I went in, I ordered a Nestlé crunch blizard and they put so much Nestlé crunch in there that you couldn't even get the spoon in the cup- and since there was so much of that there really wasn't any room there for ice cream. The person saying Mr. C's is overpriced blows my mind. The medium is 5 scoops and it costs $3 something. You can't find a value like that anywhere else. And the ice cream is excellent. The small is 3 scoops and the large is 7 scoops. The sizes are an insane value. I was worried when I saw that review that they hiked their prices this year. Thankfully not! They have Sanders hot fudge which is awesome! I remember getting a really stale cream puff here once so I wouldn't order that again.
