Goldston's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in White Lake

This place used to be great, now it's awful. Unfriendly staff that take your order and expect a big tip - the tip% suggestion started at 18%. The prices are RIDICUOUS, it was $15 for a cheeseburger combo. The menu is limited and scaled back from what it used to be and the fries were soggy and clearly frozen and very poor quality. The burgers and hot dogs are tiny and they don't have lettuce or tomato, basic staples for a burger. DO NOT GO HERE. I was shocked because last year it was great and this year it's rock bottom awful. They didn't have the TVs on so it was quiet except for the conversations the staff was having and the flies and gnats buzzing round. Need new management at Goldstons Sandwich Shop. Food great. Staff horrible. Hours listed and what staff tell you are not whats posted or what staff is doing, Staff acts like they don't want customers. We were there at 7 :17 pm told us closing at 8pm. They turned 4 customers away at 7:17pm.When I asked why they were turning customers away when they didn't close until 8pm the young girl who said she was the manager said they already closed grill. The food is very expensive and overpriced for what you get. My friend asked for a bologna sandwich all the way with everything on it, such as lettuce, tomato, etc. When we asked for it to be corrected, this old lady with a blue shirt and glasses was being hateful and disrespectful when we asked for it to be corrected. When the sandwich was ready, she called out “bologna sandwich with everything in the store on it”. Terrible experience with this worker....
