The In-Between Restaurant & lounge — Restaurant in White Pigeon Township

I really liked our waitress Michelle! She was friendly, answered all question's, smiled while speaking and professional. She definitely made the experience wonderful. Her suggested wine was perfect for me! The steak (sirloin) was prepared exactly med-well as we requested and melted in my mouth. Great flavors and the slight crispy edges were yum! The inside of my steak had a perfect darker ring along the outer area and pink through the middle. The potato was cooked completely and I could cut it with my butter knife. I normally don't order soup but I did this time .. it was also very tasty. I ordered my chocolate cake to take home and have with coffee the following morning. Again, it was great the next morning! The owner came to our table and introduced himself. He was down-to-earth, just a normal family man and asked how our meal was. He is genuine. From walking into the door, meeting employees and owner. It isn't fancy with bells and whistles, it's like home. I think this place is a hidden jewel. We will be back! Thank you all for great service, a wonderful meal and satisfied/over...

We usually enjoy our dinners at this restaurant but not this evening. We all ordered Prime Rib (We called ahead to see if it was evening featured tonight ahead if time) at our table. All 4 of us ordered it Med. Rare. The cuts looked correct, but they were ALL Med to Well. When the waitress delivered it we asked did you turn in we all wanted Med. Rare? She said YES and that's what we cut for you! NO NONE were what we ordered. We all took most of it home. Over cooked and tough. I think she should have been told by the kitchen there was no more Med Rare available rather than just saying to themselves, "Oh just tell them it is". :( Don't assume your customers are STUPID, ESPECIALLY when they've been in the restaurant and banquet...

Stopped for dinner today ordered drinks and when they got to the table she dropped and spilled it all over my MIL. Ordered our food and she dropped our dinner and had to be made again. On top of that my husband ordered a ribeye steak cut it open and it was pure white. Talked with the owner at this point and he had it remade, he brought out another and when he cut it open it was raw pork! The owner then started yelling at my husband saying what do you want me to do we cook what we buy. It was the worst experience I have ever had. We paid the bill to leave because it was so over the line my son and I got sirloin and they charged us 22 dollars which was ribeye prices. Will never go again. I can't even comprehend...
