Don't waste your time here unless you literally have time to waste... First of all and obviously it doesn't take a genius to know that we are in a pandemic, so long story short, when I first arrived, there was a line outside the door which I completely understand and there were a group of ladies at the time waiting with me and I noticed it seemed kinda like a relay race because as soon as someone came out with a cart a person would go in right away and this routine was working great until it was my turn... As soon as I walked in and looked around with cart in hand I'm told "SIR!!! THIS PLACE IS MAXED OUT!!!! AHHHH!! I NEED YOU TO GO OUTSIDE!!!!AHHH!!!" I was definitely confused because everything worked out so great for everyone ahead of me in line and boom! all eyes on me, only brown person in the store.... Best part is the manager didn't say anything, the cashier standing next to the door didn't say anything but get this, the cook/chef/security guard/emo fella with the tattoos and pony tail had to tell me while standing in the kitchen and scream at me in front of everyone like I'm some type of child? Check the videos, clearly all I did was what everyone else was doing until it was my time to go in.. first time here and definitely NOT my last, and still I supported this business. I think is was a manager I spoke to and even he didn't know what to say other sorry.....
Read moreI really want to say I love this place. My husband and I have been coming for 3 years, every 2-3 weeks for Friday night pizza to go. The place is really adorable, with an old school welcome home feel. There's organic foods and merchandise on shelves, tables to eat at and a library along one wall. The check out counter has a glass display with awesome desserts that will make you gain inches before you eat them haha
Everyone there seems to know each other, which I have found as slightly awkward. Walking in as an "outsider" sends a few stares across the room, even though we have gone there so many times. I've run into several situations where this seemed to be the case but don't really feel necessary to type all out here . . .
Overall their pizza is amazing, so I hate to give a bad review. But honestly I feel as though if you are not a local, friend or family that you can feel...
Read moreA lovely down to earth general store with everything you could possibly need for earth friendly products. From microbrews, to chocolates, to local beef - they did a wonderful job fitting an array of goods into the place. And while you're there be sure to grab a bite to eat! My boyfriend and I were looking for a hearty breakfast one morning and stopped in. We ate by the window and had a most beautiful view of the farm out back. We were both delighted with our meals, and walked out with full and happy tummies. All the food is made right on the spot, and they feature daily specials like quiche and farmer's bowls made with fresh produce from the farm. They also do pizza nights on Friday's and I believe they do an open mic, too. I have yet to make it down for this, but I am going to try! I highly recommend checking Sheepscot...
