A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service and Phenomenal Food
We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming café, and despite a minor miscommunication at the beginning, our experience was nothing short of delightful. The café was bustling with activity, and when our table was mistakenly given away, the staff handled the situation with grace and efficiency. Mrs. Tammy, in particular, went above and beyond by offering us two complimentary desserts as a kind gesture.
What truly stood out to us was the evident pride everyone took in their work. Itâs refreshing to see a team that genuinely cares about their business, and this dedication is reflected in every aspect of the dining experience. From the front-of-house staff to the kitchen team, everyone was focused on providing top-notch service and quality food.
The menu did not disappoint. We tried the pancakes, the Reuben, and the turkey burger, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The coffee was fresh, hot, and the perfect complement to our meal. Our server, though we didnât catch her name, was outstandingâattentive, sweet, and polite, making our visit even more enjoyable.
Itâs clear that the team at this cafĂ© is committed to delivering great experiences, and it shows in the care they put into both their service and their food. We made the drive all the way from Nacogdoches, Texas, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be returning to savor more of what this wonderful cafĂ©...

Went there for breakfast with the family. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes for 1 kid and regular pancakes for the other. The menu states you get 3 pancakes per order so that's what we expected. The waitress took it upon herself to assume that our kids would only eat 1 pancake each so that's what was brought to us. They smashed through the pancakes and were still hungry. Why wouldn't they just serve the 3 pancakes? We could always take leftovers.
The kids loved them so I assume they tasted good but the poor judgement call on the waitress couldn't be overlooked.
Wife got the breakfast burrito, the smallest breakfast burrito ever. It needed to either be bigger or cheaper. The amount of hash browns on the side was also disappointing. Very poor value for this meal.
My meal was better, I forgot what it was called but it had eggs, hash browns, and shaved rib eye. Decent portion and it tasted good.
Overall the food was good. Just make sure if you have kids that you tell them how many pancakes you want. Don't expect a nice big breakfast...
Read moreWanted to try this place a couple weeks ago because its near our house. When we walked in it was very odd from the beginning. I didn't know to feel like I was famous or an outcast but very strange stares towards us from the employees. I'm thinking it was because they were within 30 minutes of closing and were ready to shut it down but never the less it was very odd. One of the waitresses was shaking her head at something or someone in a way of disgust. I heard her say" Jesus Christ" and walked off with a angry look on her face. Who knows about what. Just an experience that I didn't expect from a place like this. Food was good, not great.. A little pricey considering the factors and the subpar food. I don't mind paying 35.00 for my family to eat but we could have gone many other places with better service. I wont...
