Iâm giving two stars because at least the food deserves some recognition, but NOT their service. We went in during this past week, with at least an hour before they close, and they told me they werenât taking any more dine in customers for the night⊠But we could order and wait for it and then take it home to eat. It takes the same amount of time either way to cook, and we gave them plenty of time before closing to service us. Fine. We called them again tonight (Saturday) and asked to do a delivery order- we eat here very often and have delivered from them numerous times so we were trying to make up for this past weekâs visit. I called at 8 PM, they close at 10 PM, and he told me they were not doing deliveries anymore for the evening. I asked him why, there was still plenty of time and itâs a Saturday night, who doesnât want pizza? His explanation was that they âjust werenâtâ. Twice in one week. Itâs hard to support a local business whenever the business wonât accept it. If you want to have inconsistent service times and delivery times, donât be surprised when you create unhappy customers. We love Milanos because they are the only place who delivers to our area, but two strikes in a week is hard to...
Read moreI'll give Milano's two stars, mainly because the pizza was good. The owner, however, was very condescending on the phone and in person. We are from out-of-town and had four families staying together on the lake. We called to place an order for our entire group and tried to use the 2x2 carryout deal. Shane explained to me that deal was only available once per order, so I only ordered one deal for my family. Another father called and placed the same order for his family, and Shane told him on the phone, "Looks like you found a way to cheat the system." We, by no means, were trying to cheat the system. We just needed to feed 10 people and complied with his request of using one deal per order. Once we went to pick up the pizza, Shane again muttered under his breath that we were the guys who were cheating the system. I feel this was very unprofessional and inappropriate for any member of the staff, let alone, the owner to say to the customer. Although the pizza was great, we will never order from here again. As to Shane's response to the review from the other father in our group, we were not from the same household and complied fully with the rule of one deal per order, as he told us...
Read moreTried it for the first time. Called and the owner answered and was super friendly and patient and I had complimented him on his phone friendly skills, but when I picked up the girl at the register had an attitude, got it home it was awful, to the point I couldn't eat it, so I called back to speak to him to see about getting it fixed and another huge attitude problem from cashier. Said he wasn't there he wasn't coming in, yet Zi had talked to him 30mins before, then she didn't know when he would be in, she was rude and condescending and when she raised her voice and started lecturing me I hung up, shouldn't have but I own a diner and bakery and I'm 73 and have been in this business for over 45 years I would have never spoken to anyone like that! Waiting to see if the owner contacts me and tries to make it right. I have an uneaten pizza minus one bite sitting in a box. EDIT: The owner contacted me, apologized for the incident, refunded my money on my card. And I'm going back to try something else! He was very very kind and concerned about taking care of this matter! I'm very pleased with...
