Hideaway Diner & Bar — Restaurant in Whitewood

The first time we stopped there i ordered a hot beef sandwich..it was great..texas toast n it was toasted n tasted like buttered ..meat was thick n gravy was lite n wonderful..went back home to my favourite eatery n bragged about how good it was...next year went back again an ordered the same...it wasn't the same..meat got thinner..potatoes got smaller..not impressed ..3rd time back it got even worse...bread not toasted..or buttered..meat was some sort of thin sliced lunch meat that was tasteless...overall..it sucked...we visit only on Sturgis rally dates cuz we live outa state n do the Sturgis thing each year...but i can no longer brag about how good it is..still love the bar n the remodelling they have done..food quality has suffered along the way though..not sure if going back...please go back to doin it rite n not take short cuts in quality....i want to brag again about how great you...

Came to this place and the waitress did not greet us we thought it maybe was cuz she was with another table so I just sat in and she approached asked what we were goin to drink we made our order and another group of people came in she took their order served the group first even though we were there before she deliver the group's order first ok so I thought maybe everything came first for the first round then we asked for our food (again we order before the other group about 5 min difference between orders and again the group's order came in first. I'm sure this waitress had preference for that group I don't know if it was because she knew them or because we're Latinos and they're white... My husband's food was great but mine I do not recommend the Indian taco I ask no tomato got that didn't ask for burnt hamburger could not taste any taco meat flavor the meat had no juice to it what so ever not use to having carrots in this had my husband try the first bit his first one the bead was hard and chewy like gum I put ranch on it to try and help it it that still didn't help I only took 3 bite then I hear the cook complain why did she keep on taking another bit because I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt so no I'm not happy even though they gave it to me for half price of 3 bites really come on I will not go back to I am proud to see how well the place...
