Casey's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Wichita

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door. It's a fairly nice place and it's cozy. The food was also fantastic, which was another nice surprise considering it's bar food. However it took way too long to get our drinks and we had to ask multiple times to be served or to even pick up our checks and tab out. Others around me at the bar were complaining about wait times as well, which was kind of a bummer. The liquor shelf was not organized in any way, and making one of the signature drinks on the menu took almost 15 minutes because the bartender couldn't locate the ingredients. You guys got flooded by quite a few people at one time and that's great for business, but everything immediately went downhill. I feel like if the girls had another person behind the bar or on the floor to help out, and some organization was put into play, service would be smoother, and sales and tips would be higher. Including the fact that all tabs are hand written and were difficult to locate in a rush. I did have a good experience, but myself and my friends would've had a GREAT one if some things were...

Casey's loves to just be itself, and for what that is, this place is 5-stars all around! Definitely a local watering hole, but my wife and I are from the complete opposite side of town, and we were treated with very welcoming hospitality. Casey's looks a little rough around the edges from the outside, enough to cause my wife to hesitate briefly, but the inside is full of everything that makes up a great dive bar. Pool tables, darts, and etc. Cheap beer and drinks on special. An eclectic group of locals. A very fun bartender/waitress. Full service lottery machine. Comfortable seating. Lots of TVs. And a complete karaoke setup with stage (available only on specific evenings). We were there on a Sunday afternoon during football season and had a great time watching the games together. A friend of ours recommended this place to us. My friend ended up going with someone else, several weeks in a row. She LOVES the place! I finally went with her about a week and a half ago. The place is a good size and very clean. The staff is super friendly and everyone we talked to had a wonderful personality. There are several people who recognize my friend by name, now! They just started a new game night, it's every Saturday at 8pm. I'm super excited to get to go! We also got to meet Casey, the girl the place is named after. That's right, THE Casey!
