Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Wichita

I came to this store Tuesday September 24, 2019 at 1:24 PM I ordered a large cookie dough blizzard and asked for extra cookie dough I offered to pay the extra but they said that they don’t charge for extra my total came to $5.50. It was a young girl at the window and she handed me my blizzard up side down like they are supposed to be served normally when I get it I can see the chuncks of cookie dough! I couldn’t I then began to eat it and maybe got 2-4 bites of cookie dough in a LARGE ! I called and spoke with a young girl and I advised her I was on lunch and couldn’t make it back she said to come back when I could! I then called today October 2nd 2018 and asked to have it remade explained my situation and the “owner” or manager (who seems to be very older) said to me “I know it was made with extra it would have 4 scoops of cookie dough and all you want is a free blizzard” and then told me “I had the wrong store” (which I didn’t I’ve always went to this one as it’s closest to my house) “all you want is a free blizzard so just come and get it” I then asked to speak with a different manager or the owner or corporate number, he then stated to “come get your free blizzard” and disconnected the line after arguing me after I told him I was told to come back when I could! Very rude basically made me feel like I was trying to steal from him when you pay money you want what you paid for! I will now drive the extra few blocks to the east central location in hopes of better service! The owner was very rude and now I don’t even want to go to this store for what is owed to me for what I paid $5.50 is a lot of money for one ice cream! That’s a gallon or two in gas and now I’m wondering if it’s even...

On 6/30/19 I was there again,but know I cant and will not say that I will go back again.The past few times I have went they have been out of this or that. Don't get me started on the little old man that works his butt off while the younger workers just stands there,wait they are cleaning I guess that's what u would call it. Let me give you a Pacific time when I went there.There was 3 cars in the drive thru and me and 1 other person at the window. While the old man was taking care of the people in the drive thru, the young lady was cleaning.I guess that's what you call it and wouldn't take the time to put down the rag and come and take my order,so she hollered at the old man and told him to come over and take my order.That made me so upset, because he was busy and he didn't need to come and take my order, he was taking the drive-thru people's order.Still yet he came over and took my order while still dealing with a drive-thru people. I mean it's just not right.Is that how you treat old people these days?Let a young person do nothing and expects to get a Payday?That old man should have gotten her payday and his both. If I ever decide to go back and I see that happen again,I'm going to call Corporate Headquarters and if they don't do anything,I will get ahold of Better...

Don't think you're going to use your gift card at this place. Their card reader is down and when I asked the child helping me I was informed probably for the entire summer. It's a good thing that all DQ's are convenient to get to LMAO! There has to be a law or something about a company selling you a gift card and not allowing you to use it. Won't ever happen again though and so much for supporting the local guy and the seasonal shop. If you can't get a card reader that works maybe you ought to just leave those doors closed next summer be sure as far as I'm concerned the owners of this location are thieves and took my daughter's money that she spent for my Father's Day gift and gave her...
