Rice Fruit Farm — Restaurant in Wilbraham

Wanted to leave this review after a visit I had with my friends earlier today. On a Sunday morning, the place was crowded, with a line out the door. We were a little unsure about whether or not to get in line as we knew it would be a long wait, but were glad we did.

First, let me just say that the staff who work the registers on the weekend are a godsend. The line moved quickly and efficiently despite how busy they were, and the girl who took my friend and I's orders deserves an extra kudos as she was willing to answer our questions and even make suggestions despite the fact that it was so busy. I only wish I got her name to give her a shout out because her customer service was truly top notch.

We ordered apple ciders, which were given to us within 2 minutes of placing our order despite how busy they were. And the apple cider alone was worth the wait, but the breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. I got the "spicy," which was every bit as good as the girl at the register suggested it would be. I even had to get back in line to pick up a blueberry coffee cake to take home with me, and that's already received words of praise from everyone in my house.

I'll definitely be back, this place deserves all the praise it gets - from the gracious, kind staff to the delicious food and even more delicious...

Rice Fruit farm continues to disappoint

Rice continues to disappoint and skate by on their name and the fact Wilbraham is a bit of a desert for good breakfast food.

They have frequent problems with communication and quality of service - today in addition to the usual food is ready 15 minutes later than the time they actually tell you, our food wasn’t prepared according to what we ordered. If you make a phone order and the customer asks for a particular bagel, if you don’t have it just say so, they substituted my bagel with one I couldn’t even eat due to an allergy and didn’t even say anything.

Personally I won’t be patronizing them anymore because I think it enables their poor service, the owner doesn’t care, I’ve witnessed him argue with frustrated customers who’s food was 20 minutes late and or just flat out not take accountability, a small apology goes a long way, but I guess for Rice, unearned legacy and lack of competition...

Very nice place for ice cream & homemade baked goods! Ice cream was very good with the exception of "too many chunks" in my black raspberry chocolate chip, or maybe it was called black raspberry chocolate chunk, but either way it was LOADED with chunks, which really took away from the black raspberry flavor. If they had maybe half the amount of chunks, it would've been much better. Inside they have lots of candy, including old fashioned types. They also serve bakery items, such as muffins. Only other complaint aside from the chunk overload in my ice cream, was the amount of bees outside of this place. I know it's expected because of the flowers, but I am allergic, as many other people are as well, so maybe a spray or some type of solution to decrease the amount of bees near customers?
