Billy Bob's Burgers Drive Inn: A Solid Choice for a Sweet Treat and a Step Up from Fast Food

Billy Bob's Burgers Drive Inn is a local spot in Wilbur, Washington, about 55 miles west of Spokane and 10 miles east of Grand Coulee Dam. Billy Bob's delivers exactly what you expect: a no-frills, classic drive-in experience. While the burgers and fries might not be gourmet, they definitely hit the spot when you're craving something better than your average fast food chain. The food is a solid, reliable choice – think juicy burgers, crispy fries, and maybe a few other classic drive-in staples. It's the kind of place where you can grab a quick and satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

However, the real star of the show at Billy Bob's is their ice cream. It's truly amazing! Whether you're in the mood for a classic sundae, a creamy milkshake, or a refreshing cone, their ice cream offerings are sure to delight. It's the perfect way to cool down on a hot day or simply treat yourself after a long week.

In short:

Food: A decent step up from fast food, offering classic drive-in fare. Expect good portions and satisfying flavors, but don't expect anything fancy. Ice Cream: An absolute must-try! The ice cream is where Billy Bob's truly shines. Overall: A reliable and enjoyable drive-in experience. If you're looking for a quick, affordable meal and some outstanding ice cream, Billy Bob's Burgers Drive Inn is a great option. Just be sure to save room for the ice cream. I'd recommend Billy Bob's, especially for the ice cream. If you are hungry, it's a great place to grab a bite that's better than a typical fast food joint, but not a...

Here's a 3/5 star review of Billy Burger in Wilbur, WA: Billy Burger: A Classic with Room for Improvement Billy Burger in Wilbur is a classic small-town burger joint with a long history. It's a charming spot that evokes a sense of nostalgia. The restaurant itself has that classic diner feel, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients has noticeably declined over the years. While the fries are still crispy and delicious, and the shakes are thick and creamy, the burgers themselves have taken a hit. The beef patty can sometimes be a bit dry, and the toppings feel a bit less fresh than they used to be. Despite these shortcomings, Billy Burger still holds a special place in the hearts of many locals. It's a place to grab a quick bite and enjoy the small-town atmosphere. If you're not too picky about the quality of the ingredients and are looking for a classic diner experience, Billy Burger is still a decent option. Overall: Pros: Classic diner atmosphere, good fries and shakes, nostalgic value. Cons: Declining quality of ingredients, burgers can be dry. Rating: 3/5 stars. I hope this...

We stopped in for a shake. I highly recommend the jumbo shake if your sharing with another person. We got the strawberry and it was delicious. Also ordered the cheeseburger, it comes deluxe, with lettuce , tomato, onion, relish, pickles. It was a perfect classic burger with all the fixings. The fries also yummy. Some crunchy, some soft. Perfectly paired with tartar and fry sauce.

The cool thing about the inside is they had a couple cases of salt and pepper shakers on display. The Mt. St. Helen before and after the eruption was really cool and unique.

The cashier was nice and friendly and said she liked my name.

Will definitely stop by when driving...

Love Billy Burgers and have been going there since 1989, unfortunately I’ve become allergic to wheat flour and can only eat fries and bun-less burgers. My only complaint is that there’s no gluten free options for buns and bread, times have changed and many people I know can’t tolerate wheat flour anymore. It seems like a no brainer to me, hopefully my next trip through Wilbur will be different and I can enjoy a burger properly. I gave a 4 on food and overall rating, I would gladly change to a 5 star rating to eat a burger with a bun 🐝✌️😊

This place has some amazing food. I had the cod nuggets and fries which are small little bite size nuggets of fishy goodness. The fries are reminiscent of hand cut fries from home that mom used to make. The service and friendliness of the staff was second to none and willing beyond words to help a guy find places to go for local photo opportunities. In short if you’re passing through Wilbur on HWY 2 this is a must stop for a burger. They have handmade milkshakes and just everything a small town burger joint should have.
