Today my wife & I dined at Napoliano's Italian restaurant in Wildwood Florida, we have been there before without an issue, but today we were very disappointed about the food they served us, the eggplant tasted awful & smelled bad, you could tell it was spoiled. The waiter, who was nice, actually tasted the eggplant & spited it out himself, he then told management, but she never came over to the table to see how my wife was doing. Plus they felt they didn't need to reduce or give us any discount on the food after serving us food that lack quality control, (spoiled Again, management never came over to apologize or to see if we needed anything. No attempt was made to rectify the situation and still charged us the full price for everything. We asked to changed the eggplant to chicken. Then my wife who was still having a bad taste in her mouth from the eggplant asked if she can have a little sprite to try to clean her bad taste. Yes, the waiter brought over a glass of Sprite but then charged us $3 for the Sprite, which she needed to kill the bad taste of the spoiled eggplant that they served us. The management never came over to talk to us, I guess we were just a number & not a friend of the restaurant. Plus not offering us a discount to make us feel better was not good customer service, which we wouldn't have taken anyway. I once owned a restaurant & I would have never let a customer walk out feeling that they were treated as if they weren't important that's how we felt. I'm not talking about the waiter, he was great. but his hands were tied because I saw him speak to the management & obviously the management did not authorize him to do anything special for us, they just didn't care. So not only did you lose a customer you also put yourself on notice that your food has no quality control. Or otherwise you would have easily smell the awful smell of the eggplant, because we did as soon as we first tasted it and smelled it. We're not sure what other Foods lack quality control in your restaurant. I hope that you take this seriously & try to protect your customers in the future from being...

Zero stars. Hadn't been here in over a year because quality, portions and service went downhill. Recently tried (server was actually very good) and then read they were closed by Health Department in late February for mouse droppings etc. WILL NOT RETURN! Food establishments have a responsibility to keep things clean and sanitized, especially in light of the aging population in this area. Disgusting...

We had stopped going here for about a year. Things changed, smaller portions, frozen calamari that was greasy and pasta fagoli lacking in flavor and very slow inattentive servers. Very different from when we first started eating here in September of 2022. Heard they lost their cook and staff. This place used to be great. Not so much now.
So had heard from neighbors it was good again so we tried for lunch. Chicken francese a disappointment. No egg coating, just a sautéed very small and thin piece of chicken about 3x5” with sauce poured over with pasta — worth about $10.95 but paid $15.95. Pasta fagoli lacking in flavor. Better after doctored up with oil dipping sauce for bread. Server ok, but laughed under her breathe each time she approached table. Annoying!
Won’t rush back here any time soon!

Best Italian restaurant in The Villages. None of the others come close. The chicken and grouper Francese are my favorite dishes. Fresh salads and delicious pasta fagioli. Friendly service every time and comfortable atmosphere. Very...
Read moreThis spot was chosen for a first time meeting my girlfriend's family, a halfway point in Wildwood between our respective cities. We had a party of five including my gf's 15 month old neice. Staff was very accommodating in getting us a functioning high chair. We got a large pizza for an appetizer that was fabulous. As a baker, I appreciate a good crust. The bread they brought was also very fresh, and the dipping oil, although flavorful, would be better served in a wider dish to access the cheese and herbs. Would also prefer something ceramic or at least metal versus single use plastic. My go-to at a new Italian spot is generally chicken parmesean. I ordered mine with linguine. The thing about expectations is that they are more often than not premeditated resentments. The quality of the chicken parm was disappointing. The quantity was large enough. I'll have leftovers tomorrow for work, and I'll doctor them up a bit with some herbs and pecorino romano off the block at home. We ordered dessert, two pieces of tiramisu. It was incredibly light and a good note to leave off on. We had a seasoned server who was very attentive, although they did publicly shame a trainee, which was a bit embarrassing to witness. I'd go back just for the pizza and tiramisu, and maybe try something else off the menu. Overall, it was a great place for a date or family gathering. We had lots to discuss, and the little one was in...
