We went before when there was a nice taller lady behind the counter, she was very personable and sweet, and made the experience amazing. The sandwiches we got, while expensive were definitely worth it.

Our last experience however... There was two women, one at the deli and one at the counter. We always ordered at the deli, and the two ladies just stared as we waited to order for 10 minutes, when I spoke up and ask to order, we were directed to the counter woman (somewhere we never ordered before). We gave our order, the whole time she was emotionlessness and cold to us. Which is hilarious as, she was all smiles with the other clients in the store. We asked for clarification on what "white bread" was, as we were used to just receiving our sandwiches on Italian bread, to which she did not explain but instead looked at us like we were stupid. After receiving our order, everything was ignored. They didn't get the order right. I brought a club sandwich, only to get one with no lettuce or tomato, and no condiments on it at all. My friend ask for lettuce and tomatoes, etc, didn't receive it of course, even after she reread the order to us to confirm. They were cold somehow even though they were just made, even the toast managed to be cold. The cheese unmelted. She attempted to double stack mine but didn't even cut all the way through. And its the way as she was making the sandwiches, another client came up and ordered at the deli to which she acknowledged and complained how she has two 'hot' ones to make. The irony.

The pastrami we received was the wrong order way smaller and was priced the same as a whole roll. Disappointing and very deterring for any...

There’s a lot of buzz and opinions and outrage about who has the best sandwiches in town. I am here as a new yorker, to set the record straight. As someone who grew up eating deli sandwiches DAILY….. PETERS DELI HAS THE BEST SANDWICHES IN THE NEPA AREA. Period. There are not enough reviews on Google! Check the Facebook page!!!

I have never had a bad sandwich from here no matter how busy it was, no matter what is going on. The order is right every time and it is fresh and absolutely delicious. Truly set apart from the other places in town and trust me, I tried them out. Most of them I couldn’t finish because I am comparing it to Peters. Dollars WASTED! Because there is no competition. These sandwiches, hot or cold- are worth waiting in the snow for if you needed to. And trust me, I have done it. Straight up waked over with my son in tote, in a snow storm to get a sandwich from here! And oh, it was still hot when I got home.

Tracey and her husband are so welcoming, and all the cashiers are as well. They treat everyone equally. They have become family to me. If you are looking for a sandwich that hits the spot and feels like home, come to Peters Deli. I even do a little midday date here at the seating area in the back. Its nice and clean! We love Peters Deli!!!! I pray for so much luck and success for them to continue as they have for all...

Wow… where do I start!!?? Prices we were charged were not according to the prices online, literally almost cost double with nothing extra. Didn’t even get what all I asked to be put on!! Supposed to have provolone cheese on one hoagie and asked for cheese to be on the side as my husband is lactose intolerant, and didn’t get provolone, got American. Asked for sweet peppers, got none. One tomato on a large hoagie. The ham was oozing liquid so every time I bit into it, water ran down my face. Asked for extra mayo, barely any on at all. $10 for a BLT!!?? $50 for hoagies that should’ve cost about $30 according to prices online. Shame on you!!! Give me a break… place smelled like BO and rundown and people were cold . Never again!! And I’ll spread the word. You’d be wayyyy better off for this money to go to jersey Mikes and actually get what you ask for!!! They charge a bit more for a really extra large hoagie and not have to put up with nasty body odor smell and cold, nasty people making your food. I’m highly...
