Glenn's — Restaurant in Wilkesboro

Right from the start the service and staff were just rude there. The first thing we noticed was that the entire place was served their drinks in red drinking glasses with the restaurant logo on it...while we were given ours in styrofoam cups with straws.. When we ordered our food, we let the server know that we would be ordering ice cream after our meal. We finished our food and waited...and waited... For about 15 minutes we tried to make eye contact and get the servers attention while he ignored and walked right by us, continuing to serve other people who had come in after us. We finally had to ask another server to get him so we could order our ice cream. Then the woman behind the counter took care of everyone else in line waiting to pay and then just walked away as we stepped up to pay and we had to get her attention also to pay our bill. It was a very uncomfortable experience and we will definitely not be back. There are much better and more friendly places to spend our money. They need to work on their customer service skills even when someone...

I love Glenn's. When I first moved to the area, I took my grandmother to Glenn's every Friday when I got off work; I still try to go there myself at least once a week. The food is excellent, the prices are honestly a lot lower than the food is worth. The staff is friendly, building is super clean, temperature is comfortable, and atmosphere is exactly what I need after a long week of working hard. The wait times are a little long, but that's to be expected; it's not fast food. For those who no doubt are wondering, you can get two really good burger meals (fries and drink) for less than $20; $20 barely feeds one person at most fast food places. And the burgers are much better than at any fast food place. I always tip $20 at the table, and put an additional $20 in the tip jar for the kitchen staff. It's...

My husband and I decided to eat at Glenn’s I asked for a BLT sandwich and my husband asked for a burger with a side of fries and a side salad. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out. The rest of the people around us that got seated right after we did and got their food first and it was a big group. About 30 minutes later our food comes out my husband has a beautiful plate full of his food that he ordered. Our waitress just slaps my sandwich on the table without a plate or anything it was wrapped but other than that I did not get a plate. The hush puppies that I ordered came out four minutes After the sandwich did. The food is really good but I do not recommend coming to this place if you want good service and have your food served on a plate instead of just being laid...
